  1. Is the tendency to misspell "losing" as "loosing" a new thing?  I swear nobody did this 10 years ago.

      It seems to be happening more often.  Another increasingly-misspelled word is "ridiculous"; I can't count the number of times I've seen people write "rediculos" or something like it, spellcheck notwithstanding.

      10 years ago was 2010 and I was seeing it many years before that. They also use "noone" instead of "no one," "infact" instead of "in fact" and the list goes on. People have been stupid or too lazy to care for a long time.
