  1. Anyone know what would a fair price be for this? EBAY # 290509473689
  2. That link doesn't work because you have too many "http://" in it. Thanks lol! My first link!
  3. Ehh first time I'm trying a link.. Works? hmmm again....This works?
  4. Ehh first time I'm trying a link.. Works?
  5. Ebay 120452963961 ? No slots for games?
  6. Yes, I like it too, but I agree $100 is too much. I like how "raw" it looks and like some... like something that belongs in an old submarine Any chance you could try if it works? Yea I can't wait to try this thing, will update when I can. Any pointers before I screw this thing more than I have to.. I'm using a regular 9v adapter on this unit. (I'm using an universal one because the standard 2600 9v doesn't fit, it was modded.. ) The unit was modded for video, there is a F-Coaxial mod on the back so I only screw in the coaxial cable straight to the TV. When I turn power on it is apparent that it works, the screen turns black and I do see a fuzzy blurry version of Donkey Kong in the background, the game also starts when I press the controller button. But it acts as if it is set for the wrong channel like the unit is set for 3 and I have it on 4 etc. I'm pretty sure I tried every different combo multiple times. I guess what I'm asking is what part would need to be changed if video was blown.. I'm good at soldering (I repair laptops for a living) I'm just not familiar with ATARI parts. Thanks guys.
  7. OK LOL.. having talked to these guys back and forth via email like 70 times trying to convince them their prices are horrible. I was able to get a $5 off coupon code. To "try them out". I don't know how long it will last but it is $5 off anything no catches or min to buy, so grab something for free LOL just give me 15 min to use it. Coupon code 5promo6tep But a real question, the mini complete 2600 jr system. is $49 a good price? And does the F adapter to coaxial (on the same page) work on any tv set? (sorry bout the newbie questions)
  8. I'd stay away from them, based on the fact that they're charging $10 for Frogger. You can do much better elsewhere. Old carts are pretty low-risk, especially for titles as common as those. Please, don't pay those ridiculous prices... I thought their prices seemed fairly high, too. bbildakid, try using the Wanted section of the Marketplace forum if you're looking for specific cartridges. Some people have boxes of common stuff sitting around that they'd probably sell at a reasonable price, particularly to someone who's just building up their collection. I have such a box of that isn't worth actually listing for sale, but if I knew someone was looking for something I had, I'd probably go digging around to find it for them. (btw - is that "bil da kid" or "bild a kid"? ) Thanks all. Yea bbildakid is an acronym for billy the kid. Hehh.. ever try to get the latter on a forum or elsewhere.. doesn't happen.
  9. Was thinking of grabbing a couple things.. anyone have any bad experiences? http://www.theelectronicspowerhouse.com/atari-2600.html

  11. Yea there is no writing on this thing whatsoever, I looked all over. I look on goodwill a lot and I came to the conclusion that some know exactly what they are doing (in it for the money or to rip people off) while others just throw stuff up their for the heck of it. You get lucky when you bid on stuff that says like.... "98 ATARI Carts in a box"... with just like a blurry pic of the box.. (I don't want to give away which ones know what they are doing and which ones don't) You can tell which Goodwill locations are wise to rare carts and not because some actually list the carts separate.. or they supply really detailed pics of the stacked carts... there are literally 100's of locations so just filter them out and you can get some really cool finds... Hope you guys aren't bidding against me.. hehhh... But yea where did they get the idea of RAM/ROM Testor... I can't picture grandma at Goodwill saying that out loud..
  12. Ok if everyone was curious what this thing looked like cleaned up.
