I am announcing my new website, called the Free Jaguar Project! Our goal with the Free Jag Project is to open up the Atari Jaguar game system to the same levels of freedom enjoyed by the communities of most every other classing video gaming system. This includes the openness of the developers, the release of free games and utilities, and the ability to freely play ROM and CD images of the classic game releases for the Atari Jaguar while still respecting the ability of current commercial developers to keep their software as commercial-only products. Perhaps someone should port X-Wing to the Jaguar? By the way Gorf, maybe you should post a better screen shot of Battlesphere if you really want to do a side by side comparison. Back to more reviews.... Super Burnout - Motorcycle racing done right. I-War - Perhaps people won't notice the choppy polygonal graphics if we make the controls horrible? Cybermorph - I want to bash Skylar in the head with a brick. Battlemorph - What Cybermorph should have been. Towers II - They should have just ported the first Towers game. At least that one was fun.

Aliens vs. Predator: How to shit your pants while playing a game. Raiden: Let's port a great shooter to the Jag, and then take up 1/2 the screen area with an ugly panel. Club Drive: Let's make the Jag look less impressive than an ST. Atari Karts: Mario Kart, without the fun. Fight for Life: A novel idea! Win fights by boring your opponent to death. Kasumi Ninja: Who needs gameplay when you have cheeky characters and animated backgrounds? Supercross 3D: Myst with wheels.

You, my friend, are still missing the point, I think. I have not seen them say that the ST has more potential than the Jaguar.

The game he linked to is No Second Prize for the Atari ST. You missed the point of what he is saying. What he is saying is that on a far inferior machine, NSP provided a far smoother play experience than SC3FPS does on superior hardware. What we are also saying here is that Syndicate also provides a much more playable experience on the same hardware! If you stop to look at what a game can offer gameplay-wise, you would see that a smoother graphical experience provides for a far better experience than a low-poly texture mapped stutterfest!

NSP was an awesome game! Now THAT would make a great Jag port.

Syndicate felt a bit lost on the Jag since it is originally a PC game, but it is still far superior to Supercross 3D.

I can't say much about the MegaDrive version as I've never played it, but the Lynx version is fantastic! My hat is off to whoever did the port.

A courier is definitely the best way to go, buddy!

It is too bad that this game never was released! I wish Dungeon Master was on the Lynx or Jag.

Checkered Flag is not a good game! I felt so ripped off when i bought it so many years ago! Raiden, Aliens Vs Predator, Tempest 2000, and Iron Soldier are the top Jaguar games IMO.

No I did not, but much less controversy with the Lynx card, especially compared to JagCF.

This looks like a great device! It is about time something like this came out for Lynx. If only the Jaguar were so open...

The Lynx II was my favorite portable system ever! Smaller and more efficiently designed than Lynx I, felt very nice in my hands.
