Yep.. Thats actually a 130xe motherboard.. They just left half the ram and the EMMU off to make it a 65xe... Those rev B boards have those wires from the factory.. It's a post-PCB-production change they made to increase the propogation delay on some signal (i forgot which one).. If you look on the bottom of the board, you can see where they cut a trace also.. Anywayze.. if you want, when I get home, I can look at one of my boards that has those wires and send you detailed instructions on how it should be connected.. Hi, thanks a lot for your comment! Yes, I need to know the rights connections, probably are connected properly but I have to be sure. By the way, whats EMMU? I will wait for your confirmation. Thanks Nuno M

Hi, Because the attempt to repair on my atari 65xe, I had to remove the two T74LS138 and white and blue wires that connect them. However, I'm not sure they are properly connected... I took a photo to the connections that I dont know if they are correct and the other photo, to the version of my atari, because it is very important to release. I saw photos of the same computer to another version that doesnt have these wires. Thanks Nuno M

Hi, my ATARI has 8 RAM chips. I suppose that each has 8k. 8x8=64k. A Ram in short circuit not let the system boot. I remove one by one to see if it starts but nothing... I put the OS ROM and the BASIC ROM in a Programmer REad/Write Eproms and the chips are ok, no errors! Good to me! So, next step I will change 6502C Procc. It's this that drives all others and nothing works if damaged! I think... I don´t find anything more... All components has 5V, capacitors, resistors, other chips, everything seems well... but don´t work. So next step is change the main processor. I do not know what to do more... Thanks for the help! (Sorry my english)

Yes: Here and at the german ABBUC-Forum (most of the people there also speak english). If you need a BASIC and a BASIC: I could give you one of each, but they are from a 800 XL. I am not sure, if they will do for the 65XE. Another possibility: Ask for EPROMS. I have different OSs in my machines. Some people are able (make a new thread and ask for it) to do that and you can replace your OS and BASIC chip with the EPROMS. The reference of my OS ROM: NCR 23128-30 M450086 8502A C061598B ATARI 1984 Reference BASIC rom: NCR 2364-30 M450374 8505A C024947A ATARI 1984 Your chips in 800XL are equal? About EPROMS, my dad works with electonics devices and he has a eproms programmer. I just need the files to program. Do you know where can I find the OS and BASIC files to program? In ABBUC I don´t find anything about this. Thanks for all. Nuno Whats the correct EPROMS to record the OS ROM and BASIC? Thanks Nuno

Hi, the keyboard is all ok, since this computer works fine without the keyboard, I took it to try and nothing ... died ... I think that was the OS ROM. I will continue to search. thanks! Are your chips socketed? If yes, perhaps one ore more have loosened. Especially the OS and the BASIC. Remember waht the ABBUC guys always say: An ATARI never dies. It only goes to sleep sometimes. Hi, all chips are welded to the PCB, has no sockets, So I think it was the OS ROM Yes, ATARI never dies but I have this ATARI at 25 year ago and it's normal that happens. Do you know where can I find spares for it? Thanks for the help

Hi, thanks for your answer. About power supply its ok. I have 5V in all chips... apparently everything is running but the systme don´t run... When I pressed RESET, probably one of the processor or other processors may have been damaged or the ROM ... I don´t know but thanks anyway

My FRIEND, thanks a lot! you save my life!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I was so sad when I saw that the page had disappeared ... I bought in AtariAge shop the PCB to connect the cartridge slot of my ATARI 65XE to read the turb6000 and the next day I would ride the circuit for the XC12 and to my surprise had disappeared ... I was even sad! One without the other does nothing, so I can finish my work now! Thank a lot! Nuno Moniz Thanks for the other files to!

Hi, I would like to know if anybody did the circuit for datassete XC12 to read the turbo6000 software. The circuit was in http://www-user.tu-chemnitz.de/~sgl/atari/turb6000/turb6000.htm but this page unfortunately missing. If someone did this circuit, please say something. Thanks Nuno M
