Guys! My harmony cartridge arrived just before Xmas, I tried it and it instantly didnt work. After reading the manual and trawling the forum posts I decided that it might be set up in NTSC mode. So after getting the harmony cartridge software installed on my PC I duly copied the latest versions of eeloader_104e_PAL50.bin + hbios_105_PAL50.bin onto the the SD card. The version of Harmony I have is the Deluxe version so the SD card works and it's been properly formatted. When I switch the 2600 (an old six switcher version) I get the harmony logo rotating a couple of times and then I bombs into a screen of vertical lines, the 2600 makes a beeping noise and then simply freezes? The harmony cartridge recognises that the bios has been updated and I always copy the hbios file into the root directory of the SD card. I have cleaned the SD card, the harmony cartridge and the edge connector of the 2600, the 2600 is vanilla, it has no modifications of any description and uses a standard 2600 joystick and powerpack. How the heck do I get this thing to work?? Slayar.

Ah, i didn't know that. But at least with this ROM people can get an idea what kind of game Night Fighter is so it's better than nothing i guess. And i think it would be a good idea to put up a video of the complete version on youtube. Man I only wish I had the time! Yeah I think its a good idea the ROM is out there! I have written a prototype book about the O2 and Videopac prototypes which has about 100 pages which i think to date is the most complete work on o2 prototypes. I have another, maybe, 10 pages worth of notes of photo's and notes to go into the new version which I'll release at some point!

The link that you have posted to download the ROM is not the same as the one which is on our cartridge! There are three different copies of the Night Fighter prototype, ours is the only complete European version.

This version of the game is the unreleased European PAL version which features many new graphics which were not previously included in the Brazillian release. The game was originally only available in Brazil but European copies of the prototype do exist but it was simply never released. We have 40 copies of the game available which will work on PAL and NTSC machines. The cartridge cases / EPROMS and PCB's are all brand new, we have recycles nothing. Hi all, We intend to release our next prototype for the European and American market. This is a game called Night Hunter which was only officially released in Brazil. Currently we have orders for about 20 cartridges. We have already prototyped some of the artwork for the release and are currently awaiting the translation of the manuals. We are posting here today to see if any members are interested in purchasing a copy. We are looking at making roughly 20-35 carts depending upon demand. Once we have made the carts we will not be making a second batch. The cost is going to be roughly 30-40 Euros depending upon how many orders we take, we are hoping to keep costs down as much as possible. The game will work on both NTSC and PAL consoles. just a quick update, the prototype book is now finished and I shall be buring it to a CD-ROM. We have just to print the CD-ROM artwork off and then the limited edition version is ready for sale (hopefully in next few days). I'm taking some photo's of the finished Standard version of Robot City, so hopefully you can see whats on offer. I'm also writing a book about the prototypes for the Videopac / Odyssey 2 which come on a CD-ROM as a PDF file, there will also be lots of artwork / photo's / instructions and other goodies on the CD-ROM. I'm also preparing one or two additional "surprises" for the limited edition owners. Standard Edition costs is 45 Euros / limited edition 50 Euros. This includes postage. We have used completely new components. We have new PCB's (which have never been produced for the 02 and as such cost significantly more than atari PCB's we have not recycled any internal components), the EPROMS are new. We have recycled the cart cases but have used the best that we could find, again nobody has ever produced a fresh batch of O2/Videopac cart cases. We are also going to be including a protective plastic case which is something that none of the other o2 / Videopac releases have ever done. Any questions, comments, please post here or PM directly. that looks very similar to a cart I have for the Odyssey 2, it enables people to play copied EPROMS, this used to be quite a passtime for the Dutch Employee's in Eindhoven. Usually people would swap EPROMS just like people would swap a cartridge.
