  1. Tell us your favorite Atari 2600 game! (Not that hard is it now? :D )

    Mine, has to be Pacman

Yes, I have said it was an unfinished proto and stuff like like, but that was an urban legend that people now days say.

I LOVE IT, play it for hours non stop.

    Now, whats yours?

Hours non stop? Dude, you got balls!

Anyways, I'm goin' with Moon Patrol.

Tommorrow it will be somethin' else.

  2. I'd like to have some life insurance money pay off when I die, and have my wife donate some money, and the collection, to the government to set up a small technology museum. We don't have anything like that here, and one large reason I collect old tech and old books is to help myself and others remember our history, where it all started, and enjoy the simpler things. Museum would carry on the torch

What exactly in your collection would a museum be interested in? That shirt? JK..

  3. I picked up Parasol Stars a while back. It's probably the funnest game I've played on TG16

I actually REALLY want this game but am just having a little trouble pulling the trigger on it since its pricer then I'm used to older games being. :P

I wouldn't spend the money on a regular booster. All it does is convert the video output from RF to composite. You can accomplish the same thing by either modifying a cable (easy), or modifying the console itself (slightly harder but still easy) for a whole lot less money. In fact, I have a extra cable that I made before I did the AV mod on mine. I'll sell it to you for $8.00 shipped if you want it. Send me a pm.

I'm curious about this cable you made, How does it work? I may be interested in buyin' it!

Too late, I sent payment today. ;)

Well, are'nt you special...I would still be interested in how it actually works though.

    Edit: Thanks Cris!

  5. Well, finally picked mine up at the local K-mart in the "ghetto" of all places. I've definately noticed the difference in the graphics and clarity of games compared to the Namco version (which I find to be quite blurry, especially compared to this one.) The Taito one seems to almost look "HDish"..The controls seem to be great as well for all games, though I hav'nt played most on the actual arcade. I did notice that the joystick twist turns slightly with a click for some reason, almost as if switching modes?.. I am definately getting my 20 bucks out of this thing as it's pretty awesome all around. Great job, to the ones who developed this one!!

The Namco stick "twists" to act like a steering wheel for Pole Position.

I'm not talking about the Namco version, I'm talking about the Taito. The stick does a "click" when you twist it, but it does not turn like the Namco version.
