Are you familiar with the game when it works correctly? Because it does have a pause feature normally invoked when you press * and different music plays (how can I describe it....snake charmer played backward?) . It might just be going straight into pause, did you try the * on the keypad? Thats exactly what it was. The game was automatically going into pause mode...Snake charmer played backwards..

Sounds to me like you need to clean the cartridge slot. Unplug the power supply first. I highly recommend De-oxit by Caig. It is expensive but an excellent product. I take a strip of poster board about a foot long and the width of the cartridge slot and fold it in half put De-oxit on the folded edge and gently insert and remove poster board a dozen or so times. You may want to fold over in another spot and repeat. If you don't want to go to the expense of buying the good stuff, use 99% isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol), make sure it is the 99% and not the watery 70% crap. Wait several minutes after cleaning the slot before restoring power to the unit. If cleaning the cartridge slot doesn't help you may need to attempt cartridge repair. If all fails I will sell you a nice tested working copy of BurgerTime for $18 shipping included. 18 bucks?? I think I'll just try to repair this one

Hey guys, I got Burgertime the other week along with a few other carts for the Colecovision. I cleaned them all and they all play great except BT. I still pop it in every so often to see if maybe it changed its mind to let me play but no luck . The screen just displays as if no game was inserted at all (Start up). For some reason the console thinks no game is in. I've tried everything and the actual cart inside and out look new. Do carts just die? Anyone got any suggestions on how to make a game play even if you've cleaned, shined, etc..Please, I've yet to play BT for Coleco and would love to get this cart to fire up

Hey guys, I've got a Colecovision with a port problem. The first port just automatically goes down when gameplay starts and the keypads 1,3,5 and few others don't work . (keypad/controller not the prob(been tested) When I plug in player 2 everything w/ player 2 is fine. Player one still goes down constantly. I've done a little research but have not found too much on the topic. Can someone possibly link me to a walkthrough on how to fix the port? I know theres a fix if player one automatically goes left and starts automatically as well(got another console w/ this problem ), but can't find anything w/ what my prob is. Contacts, ports have been cleaned so I also know thats not the issue.. Any links, suggestions would be greatly appriciated..

Thanks man, I pretty much have to store my stuff like that because as of right now my Girlfriend and I live in a very small apartment. This actually is'nt everything. I have the 360, Wii, tons of retro mags, console and game boxes in other parts of the apt.

I have a Frenzy cart for Colecovision that I got not to long ago and for some odd reason when I fire it up weird things start happening. Screen goes black and some weird music starts playing..Music I've never heard in the game. The cart is extra clean so I know it's not the connectors. All other 33 games play perfect, so it's not the coleco. Did a little research, nothing. Anyone got any ideas or same experience?
