I am always floored when people comment that Kung Fu Master isn't that good. I mean, wow, really? The game is beautiful and surpasses anything I thought a 2600 was capable of. I find it loads of fun with different opponents (acrobatic midgets anyone), traps and bosses. I agree, I think the 2600 did an excellent job with Kung Fu. If only they could've fit the stairs in there

Thanks for the suggestions, the only reason I put in wholesale cat. is because for some strange reason thats the only way I can post correct postage (up to 9.00 as opposed to only up to 4.00 in vintage,games etc.) The only other way was to post under systems I hate when I see a postage listed and then I open the listing and the postage is stated differently. Thanks again your info was definately a great heads up nonetheless.

Thanks, I will definately give that a shot with the color issue..Now as far as the AC adapter overheating all the sudden is a certain mystery to me, and I'm still curious about adapter alternatives..Thanks again for the color fix idea .

O.K. so I hooked up my Vader and played Turmoil for about 15 mins (which at first no response from joys, then all the sudden they worked) then popped in River Raid, noticed the land was blue not green then turned off the system for about 5 mins. or so and when I turned back on, no power. The AC adapter was extremely hot but obviously not shooting juice. I tried my extra adapter and it worked fine(both are Atari brand), although colors are still off. I'm guessing adapter fried? Can anyone please shed some light on what might have happened? Also can you use an alternate power supply(non Atari brand) with same or similar voltage? I've googled all possibilities but nothing really on point. Thanks in advance for any knowledge you can spare.

Yeah, thats true Ebay does seem to favor the "big dogs" but to be honest I prefer and mainly look to purchase/bid from the little guys (with good feedback of course). They seem to take more pride in their products and the customer service is normally greater.Plus, you can get a fairly better deal.

Y, this has been my experience as well. That is why I am thinking of marketing ploys to get people to bite, and possibly at higher dollar amounts. One thing I might try is to sell custom modded systems, maybe even with new paint jobs, and maybe "themed" with a particular grouping of game carts. Mods would be things like stereo sound output jacks and blue LED on a NES console, and maybe package a Super Mario Bros. system, say with SMB1, SMB2 and SMB3 included. Maybe then I could garner some interest and sell for a fairly nice dollar amount. Does this sound like a good plan, or one bound for failure? Yeah, I would definately go the "theme"/ mod route for the NES..but locally, themes don't seem to matter much. You could run a 30 day post on Ebay for the mods/themes at a set price obo to attract potential buyers. Then all the commons/sports games and unmodded systems you can sell locally as a bundle for a fairly cheap price because you don't have to pay fees or ship.
