  1. You might not care about TV formats, but rarity is determined by it.
  2. Well, it's a good thing you did'nt mod the Atari, considering you could barely get things going on a crt TV..
  3. Very nice write-up, I also lean more towards Star Master as the fav of the bunch. Of this genre, it's actually the only one I do enjoy.
  4. Mega man 2 for sure. It was the first MM game I played and owned back in the day. I beat MM 1 first, so that would be my 2nd best.
  5. Then you should try, Dark Chambers for the 7800 Then you should try, Dark Chambers for the 7800.. As for me, I love Choplifter for the SMS, but I suck major at it..
  6. I like PacMan just as much as the next guy but....DAMMIT, Why are they making a plug-n-play with the same list of games!?!?!?
  7. Damn, that is really cool! Does it play all regioned carts? How's the output?
  8. So I went to Goodwill today and scored an Ascii turbo controller and 2 game genies..One for the Genesis and one for the SNES.. Had to crack the controller open to get it to work, the SNES Genie cleaned up nice and works great. As for the Genesis GG, I've done the whole cleaning the pins and the connector as much as possible and still, no go. When I insert It into the NTSC "Model 1", along with a cart on top, I get the Bios start up, then the GG intro. The screen where you enter codes come up, but there are no letters/numbers to enter, just a blank code grid, and have tried numerous games. Anyone else seem to know whats going on? Can't seem to find any info that helps.
  9. As much as I love SEGA ,12 bucks tops would be feasable for this lot, and no, 688 attack is far from awesome...
  10. I'm just gonna sit back, smoke my crack pipe, and sleep out in the cold...
  11. Yes, it will play most famicom titles you throw at it, and the one that comes wth it will play on a regular ntsc toaster, along with an adaptor of course. So, I dont see a reason wht it would not work on a Famicom.
  12. Holy Hell!! I just noticed I'll be 33 in 2 days...I remember the days I thought just 23 was old.

  13. True, screw Exerion, lets see Paperboy 7800!
  14. I just open the slot, and jam peanut butter and syrup all around the insides, works like a lucky charm...
  15. Mine was doing similar things, and when I used a different power out, everything cleared up, wish I would've tried that shit before I opened some carts to clean them. You should probably contact Yurkie if all else fails, he the Coleco God around here.
  16. Sounds great, but what's the point of this service?....I mean for you. If its to just get people games, good luck for the unneccessary headaches you may endure.
  17. Hey IceDawg, I picked up an extra nice and clean Jr. just the other day. Can send it your way if you still need one. Pm me if interested, and what your trying to spend.
  18. I myself, have never had to sell my entire collection, in the past 5 years I've been really going hard. Always in the back of my mind though, if something seriously needed the funds the games would go. I've been lucky lately, almost too lucky. For all of those, who've had to "empty out," What type of situation were you in, to have to let/sell it off? What went first? Did you get back what you paid? How was life different without all those games? Did you ever bounce back? or never to return? These are some of the few questions I think about at times, about my collection, and would like to see what others, who've been down that long road before had to say.
  19. Looks like Commando now..but, in a good way.
  20. I paid 75 bucks for a super mario/duck hunt cart from ebay, because the add read [email protected]@K!! RARE!!
  21. The SEGA Master System is a fantastic 8-bit system. US titles are really good but, then the PAL games are almost the reason to own a Master System. Most titles are never that expensive, especially if you buy overseas. There are a few though that glitch on a ntsc system, I remember starting an official list over there at Sega 8bit a while back, The only ones I remember not booting at all were. Codemaster titles and few others.
  22. Just buy a working Genesis and use the broken one for a show piece..
