  3. Hopefully he's not perpetuating to people that Spry's hard work was "piracy". Which is ironic since he's selling bootlegs of Atari games. That response is all over the place though, I'd be suspect even more to the quality of the "homebrews" he's selling.

  8. I second this, when I found Harem I too was surprised. Definitely my favorite of the Porn games. A pretty neat adventure.

I'm still working on M.U.S.C.L.E. for the A8 but I dunno if that's really all that exciting for an article. xD A write up about the hacks PlaySoft/Darryl1970 have done would be really cool I think.

  11. For the girders I think the current thinner version that is there looks the best. Proportionally it looks right on to the arcade even if missing the little thicker lines. The arcade has more vertical resolution, so I think that makes up for it IMO.
  12. Thanks guys! Yeah I got a lot of incidental things I wanted to do this week finished. I appreciate the support, I really hope everyone enjoys it. Still have to tweak the collision a bit, but I don't think it'll be too bad after mull over a few of my options.
  13. From Darryl and Playsoft just you know hacking away I'm amazed at what they've been able to do. The multi-colour prizes really add a lot, in not making the A8 look like an inferior machine. The new white face Mario looks nearly identical to the Colecovision version which really encourages me as I remember it being the golden boy back in the day for DK. All in all, I'd prefer err to the side of arcade accuracy, but that's just me. I really just love all these changes, it's amazing even for what it is now.

  16. I think the 7.2 ALT RMT version kills! Multi-Colour Prizes, Great Sounds, Great Colours, etc! It's awesome!
  17. Just have to re-write a bit of the collision routines and that's about it for my pre-demo checklist. Now the battle with the first boss is a real Cat Fight...heh...heh...
  18. IDK if it's my Stella Version, but the maze is very flickery. The top map looks great, and the enemy movement stuff looks good, just the flickery maze makes me a bit queasy. Though if it doesn't look like that on your it may be my Stella version, but I thought I had the latest. ^^

  20. I really like those Luigi colours, and I think too I like those Mario colours. Hmm...need to look at it more, but not bad. :3
  21. Yeah they're not bad, though I think my definitive favorite is the current, I like it, darker and reasonably accurate. :3
  22. Oh very cool! I love voxel terrains, one of my favorite engines to code for random platforms. I can't wait to try it out on real hardware when I get home. :3
  23. Thanks guys, glad you enjoyed it. I actually have a fighting game idea I started on another platform so maybe it'll morph into that, if I decide not to make it Mortal Kombat, just in case Netherealm would wanna C&D or whatever. Either way it'd be cool.
