  1. I want to know some of the titles that came after the original launch titles. Is there any website similar to NESGuide.com where you can browse games based off of year? Thanks.
  2. I have my box, but I'd like to open it on video, as well as do a video on forums and communities (It'll just mention why people should join online communities, and than talk about how your community should have things like this, and blah blah blah.) So I'm going to wait a while before I open it. I am excited to see what's inside though
  3. I'm so frustrated that people never mention this, it must just be me. But the controls are so DELAYED. When I move my head to the right, it takes almost half a second for the same thing to happen on screen. All the Call of Duty and Resistance games don't have this problem. The controls are perfect, there is no delay. But with Killzone 2 and 3, I just can't stand it. It's unplayable to me, I don't understand how people can just shrug this off.
  4. Wow, I'd be impressed if that works. They should have an Avatar themed game, instead of these uninspired themed titles...
  5. Hellfire actually gave us today. Thank you Lord Hellfire.

  7. I like post crash, simply because the introduction of game saves. Games before the crash have aged poorly.
  8. Description: This is a group for women who do write programs for ATARI and other classic computers. Many men do not believe that women can create programs on computers, especially games and here we want to prove them wrong. You can upload games and programs and discuss programming projects for computer systems. Too bad 90% of the users are like OP and want to join to "appreciate" the 2 or 3 other girls in the group >_>
  9. Sucks, it sort of ruined this video I made, but I still made it regardless. I was going to replace the >> with an atari joystick, but I decided against it. Anyways, here's the animation.
  10. Ugh... lame. I'm over Atari computers >_> I have to ask, what functionality were you expecting? It's not a modern game console with a hard drive or flash storage in it. No machines from the 70s or 80s would store data when turned off. The Famicon had game saves on cart, but these were battery backed and not reliable. I just assumed that if they had a word processor on it, than it could store information. I'm still pretty noobish to retro gaming. When I bought an Atari 2600, I was really disappointed to find that it couldn't save high scores. Than I thought with these computers, they would HAVE to be able to hold some information, but I guess not...

  12. Dude, I love the GUCK, it's way better than the nezz, snezz, gubah's and gubahAH.
  13. Can you save high scores on the 400/800? I'm asking because if there is a word possessor, than it HAS to save data right? If it can, I'm going to buy an 800 like now.
  14. Lol if I knew someone that's pet peeve was calling it the "nes" and "snes" than I would go out of my way to bug the living shit out of that person
  15. I always say Super Nintendo unless I'm being purposefully retarded. When I was much younger, no one ever said "Super NES" or even "NES." If you had asked me if I had a Super NES, I would have no idea what you just said. I called it, and still call it, the Super Nintendo. Just sounds way more epic.
  16. All of a sudden, I want an Atari computer. Had no idea these existed, and now I'm all for one. Should I get the 400, or 800? Or one of the other ones? I should probably research it even more, but I think the 400 is cooler. I'm not a computer expert, so I have no idea how to upgrade Ram or anything like that...
  17. I cringe when I realize people just throw away videogames
  18. Yeah, not to mention there's no Atari clones out there. With that said, now that I've discovered Atari Age, finding a working 2600 has become easier.
  19. I'm pretty sure it's the AA in Atari Age, without the middle line part to be fancy, but I'm not completely sure >_> I'm making an animation using the logo, and I'd like to know what the logo represents, thanks.
  20. Does anyone else think the videogame crash was over-exaggerated at all? I never grew up during this time, so I have no idea, but it seems to me most people shrug it off when talking about their childhood.
  21. Right. There would have to be a way for it to be able to distinguish lost connection from voluntarily up-and-outting. Since Wifi is the predominate now (or at least I think it is), if a rage quitter wanted to keep rage quitting without having this happen to him, he'd have todo something ridiculous like set up his router right by where he sits to play and keep, unplugging the router power cord...you know, oopsie poopsie. It wouldn't surprise me at all if that starts happening though, adamic ingenuity being what it is. But in order to do enforcement right, you wanna do everything you can -to- get the bad guy -without- doing collateral to the good guy (this is why if a suspected criminal on the run ducks into a mall, they don't just nuke the mall), and in the case of rage quitter vs unfortuitous, tenuous connection, I think some of that stuff is sadly going to slip by if they're interested in not throwing the baby out with the bathwater, and penalizing the innocent net-bogger in the process. Therefore, on a practical level, I think making sure that the system can detect voluntary quit vs signal loss is going to be the best they can do, and it will go a long way in making the situation better...and to the jerk that gets away with rage-quitting-via-unplugged router, does he really get away with it? Consider this: in probably 99% of homes in the "gaming area" usually a living room or a bed room, just how awkward and inconvenient it'd be to have to set up a router right by the couch, or the bed, or whatever. The alternative to this would be that that guy would have to keep getting up after getting his butt kicked every single match, and marching over to the router across the room or across the house....the point is, he might be able to rage-quit without ranking penalties, or without being branded a heretic, but he's still having to suffer to do it....and probably cursing us and Capcom all the while as if it's our faults (blame-shift comes standard in the adamic package, you know.) But no, I think this is a fantastic thing they're dong so long as they don't "nuke the mall" so to speak. But if your internet connection is THAT bad, as to where every few rounds, it disconnects, than you seriously need a better router, or you need to stop playing. I don't see a difference here. I don't want to match up with someone I know has a 50% chance of disconnecting.
  22. I hate when companies release an unfinished product, and than "kind of" finish it through updates, but it's still pretty buggy as hell.
