  1. Is it possible to construct a Jaguar II emulator given what is currently known about the Jaguar II hardware? Would it be necessary to have the actual hardware to make such an emulator?
  2. I have tried both Missile Command and Robotron and they both work. If your ST has an RF unit, you can hook it up to a color tv too.
  3. Sweet. I hope that you can post some pics and even some YouTube vids.
  4. Glad you like and exceeded expectations :-) Alan. I was picturing a plug, some wires and a pcb ;o)
  5. The bottom line is you must put out the best games with some exclusive IP. If Atari was ready to do that then they would have been fine regardless of technical issues.
  6. Heh. It's just that work has been so busy lately. I haven't had time to indulge.
  7. I got that ethernec or ethernat or whatever it is called in the mail today. It came with it's own enclosure. Nicer than I expected actually. Now I just have to figure out what to do with it....
  8. I don't get tired of looking at the full-frontal Jag-Duo. Still... are we going to get to see any side boob side Jag-Duo?
  9. Wow. That seems like a monumental task. I am actually fine with the current format of the docs myself.
  10. The JagDuo was not released at least not yet... Wait ... so they are planing on on making a JagDuo and releasing it???? That's freaking awesome!!! -Disjaukifa and please make Jag II too! ;o)
  11. There needs to be a hot female jaguar too.
  12. Yeah I was really upset, everyone seemed to hate the controller, but I loved it . . . . especially compared to the *&$#*((* N64 controller . . . and yet it was somehow popular, I will never understand it. -Disjaukifa The Jag controller has always been very comfortable for me. I actually liked the N64 controller too. The damn SNES, NES, PSX controllers were all too damn small. Of course the complaints about the Jag controller having too many buttons was also b.s. The reflex anti-Jag hate from the media back in those days still pisses me off.
  13. That's totally sweet. Can you add some profile shots?
  14. I always wanted to try out one of those! Please let us all know how it goes.
  15. Thank you so much guys. Nice work. Wow. My first game was pathetic. But #2 high score!!! ;o)
  16. Zero 5 is kick ass but I have yet to get past the asteroids. Protector SE, Raiden, T2K, Rayman, Power Drive Rally, DOOM, and Wolfenstein 3d all rock hardcore. I like I-War also, but I haven't completed the game. I gotta admit though, with I-War, Hoverstrike, and to an extent, Cybermorph, if there was anything that was critically lacking in those games, it was any kind of meaningful narrative or character development. For as simplistic as Star Fox was graphically, it had characters and moments that are (at least for me) to this day instantly memorable.
  17. Greetings all. I picked up a cart of Pac-Man Collection for the 7800 - totally awesome by the way. I am curious however about this and other small run titles (Total Carnage, IS 2 for Jaguar, etc; Galaxian for Atari ST) - are these games actually licensed for publication? It says of the back of the manual, "Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man and characters are trademarks of Bally Midway Mfg. Co., sublicensed to Atari Corp. by Namco-America Inc." But certainly this game was not published by Atari, and even if it was, would not the license have expired by now? How does this work exactly?

    Raiden

Almost every version of Raiden kicks ass. The Jag version is particularly good. PlayStation version is also good.
  19. That would be tight. I would also want it to be a full computer, if even ala PS3, running some sort of UNIX flavor. That would be kick ass. I know there was a port of TOS for the Jaguar, but I never have gotten to play with it. I wish there was someway to add a 68060 and turn the Jag into a full computer (like for the CD32). Heck, an expansion with an x86 (Core 2 or whatever) and 1080P would also rock.
  20. Agreed, I'll never buy another console if Sega makes it. I'm a longtime Sega fan, yet they continually shit ALL OVER their fanbase, just so they could shove endless sports titles down our throats. Makes me sick. All the potential of the Dreamcast, all of it's great titles, yet we get, what, 2 actual RPGs? And how many redundant, cookie cutter sports titles? Urg. How many first party RPGs does Nintendo put out? If you don't have the third parties... The DC could have made if not for MS jumping in the market with billions of dollars to blow. I was never a Sega fan, but I wish they were still in it. The Jag, the Saturn, and N64, and then Jag2 would have been a fun contest. Sigh.
  21. I can't help you with that . I'm only use CC65 and DASM for my 6502 projects. Well, I guess I could always give it a shot. I have a Falcon and a few STs, and STeem. Update 9/17: I tried to compile it with MadMac on Steem, but got tons of errors. I changed the processor line to ".6502" as stated in the MadMac reference manual. I thought perhaps the comments might be the cause, but the reference manual said comments with a semicolon were fine. I'll update again as I make progress.
  22. I saw those things about verbosity and list files in the electronic document that came with DASM. The manual didn't make a huge impression on me as to what I was then supposed to do with that or even how to pick one over the other. Actually, if any of you guys know, would it be possible to assemble that exact same source file with Madmac?
