My gamertag has been changed for a while now, forgot to update it here.
New GT: Malam360

Yeah, they were cheap. I just seemed to remember someone telling me Aladdin was expensive. Ah well.

Are these worth anything? The Disney games are floppy disks, the Tomb Raider game is a CD. Fully boxed with all papers.

Do you have a picture of the SNES? What games are there? How much is shipping to the UK?

The sound Jumpman makes when he walks in Donkey Kong... that's pretty rad.

Some news... I managed to set my PS2 up on a non HD TV, and the GunCon doesn't work, so I can't sell that. Both of the games are PAL - I don't think you can play these on a Canadian console. Here are the totals, though:
Virtua Cop -- £3.90 ($7CAD)
Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 -- £12 ($21.57CAD)
Shipping for combined games -- £6 ($10.79CAD)
TOTAL -- £21.90 ($39.37CAD)

That's good - it's the only payment I'd accept! I'll find out what the postage would be and PM you, along with my PayPal address. Thanks!Just out of curiosity... how much is Marvel Versus Capcom 2?
The minimum I'd accept would be £12 ($20), as that's the low end of what they go for on eBay.

Nice! I got my first SNES a couple of days ago and it's already one of my all time favourite systems!

Anybody?

What I hate:The damn sellers who sulk up and scowl about a "low sale" that they agreed on. Come on big baby! It's all part of the fun! One guy was all pissed for a $9 sale of 3 loose ordinary SNES carts (I should have been the one crying!).
The damn sellers who try to bully you into a sale. What?!?? The "how much you want to pay?" sellers who are really asking "how much you got?" I kept low-balling this seller just to piss him off because he was a jerk. Loved it.
What I love:
The nice sellers who right off the bat say $1 each for NES games. I don't even try to haggle with them, I just scoop up all the ones I don't have.
The worst seller I've ever encountered was an old woman, who when I asked for the price of a particular game I wanted, she bundled a load of other shitty games into a bag, told me a ridiculous price and said something like 'and you'll have lots of fun playing these', as if the sale had already been completed before I'd said anything. I ignored what she said and walked on...

For sale is the NES, 1 controller, Super Mario Bros. 3, Gauntlet II and all leads (with RF lead).
NES unit and controller have been cleaned. Console and controller have some minor cosmetic dents on them, but everything works perfectly.
This is a PAL console with a UK 3 point power plug.
Looking for around £30 + P&P.
Everything here: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=148126 is still for sale also.

800 stars for a DS game? Wow.
Club Nintendo UK T-shirts and posters for 2500+ stars. :/ There are some GBA games for 5000 stars.

Yeah, I've had nightmares of the old lady laughing as she pays her $2.49 each for Neo Geo AES carts as I watch.AX
I had a dream somebody was throwing out a NeoGeo AES with a bunch of games. So I took them but of course when I woke up, I had nothing in my hand...

I hate it when that happens -- I always dream I'm going to sleep with them, and on many occasions I've looked around my bed to find the games...

Thanks for the tips. I've cleaned the contacts on the game carts and they all seem to be working now.

I'll need to clean the console anyway - what's the best way to clean dirty plastic?

I recently got a SNES. Today I tried to get it working, but it gives a black screen and the TV doesn't recognise it when I do an RF antenna scan.
I get a black screen, and every now and then the picture flickers on.
How do I get it working? :/

I have the GunCon 2 light gun for it as well. I've never been able to test the light gun, as I have a HD TV, so I'd bundle the gun in too.
How does $7 Canadian dollars sound? I'd charge shipping as well, if you're interested let me know and I'll calculate it for you.

This is history in the making!

ZX Spectrum video problem
in Classic Console Discussion
Posted
I have a ZX Spectrum which I'm trying to get working - it appears to be switching on perfectly and it sometimes makes beeping noises when you press buttons. I'm using the coaxial antenna cable to connect it to the TV, and there is definitely something happening - I can vaguely read the startup text which is scrolling up the screen. I've opened it up to see if it was dirty but it appears to be clean.
Anyone have any ideas on what I can do to get it working?
