  1. Nope - it's definitely a SNES! PAL region SNESes look different to American NTSC SNESes, but similar to Super Famicoms. PAL SNES: American SNES: Super Famicom:
  2. What's even better is that the seller lives near me - I'm going to collect it on Saturday.
  3. Earlier today I bought a SNES on eBay! I've been after one for a while and this one was a bargain. That's what it comes with. Yes, a NES also! I'll be selling the NES as I already have one. The SNES games are Super Mario All Stars (edition with Super Mario World), Street Fighter 2, F-Zero, Flashback, Donkey Kong Country, The Legend of Zelda A Link To The Past, Mortal Kombat, Spiderman and X-Men, Theme Park and FIFA International Soccer. The NES games are Mario and Duck Hunt, Megaman 2 and The Legend of Zelda. I've bolded the games which I'm keeping. Woot. ^_^
  4. Most of the stuff is PAL, but there are some region free (Game Boy, PSP) and NTSC (Genesis, SNES) games. Ask for more information on specific items.
  5. Lately I've been buying a lot of consoles and games. As soon as I've bought one thing, I move onto looking for the next. It leaves me with little time to actually sit down and play the games. Are any of you like this? A few days ago I made a list of all the systems and games which I want - how long is your 'want list'?
  6. Bump! There is an Atari Lynx there, y'know. £8.99.
  7. I'm in England. There will be loads of eBay US sellers willing to ship to the UK, I'm wanting to know which games are worth getting.
  8. Yeah, I disabled the lockout chip. It was a bugger getting it all back to fit properly...
  9. Today I region modded my PAL NES. It still works - so I think I've done it right! I don't actually own any NTSC games, and I'm looking to buy some of the best NTSC exclusives. What can you suggest? I know there is Ninja Gaiden II and III, but are there any others worth me getting?
  10. Awesome! I've just ordered a tri-wing screwdriver off eBay so I can have a go at fixing it.
  11. But those are NES - not SNES?
  12. Yeah, I see loads without the cables. I'm looking to pay around £20 - £25 with the cables (and perhaps a game) - is this too low?
  13. I know, but pretty much all of them are bundled with a load of games - bumping the price up to more than I want to pay.
  14. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/merchant/faceofjoe_..._fromZQQ_ipgZ25 Please bid lots of money.
  15. I've never thought about doing this... I may test it out on an unwanted game. Like you say, I normally take the console apart and leave to soak in hot water and antibacterial liquid overnight. That loosens it and then I just use a toothbrush and a sponge wipe it before rinsing it in hot water. Could WD-40 remove a thin layer of the plastic? If so - I'll use it on some yellowed consoles.
  16. I have a HDTV, and pretty much all of the retro consoles I have look blurry and fuzzy when playing on it. What's the best screen I could buy to play the games on, so they look crisp?
  17. I'm looking for a PAL SNES and ZX Spectrum. The consoles must be in clean, working condition - a pic would be great! Would prefer to buy from a UK seller, as the postage would be much cheaper. Thanks.
  18. Aw, damn. Thanks for the info. Looks like I'll just have to put up with it!
  19. See the lines of missing pixels on either side of the screen? Is there a way to fix this, or is it stuck like this?
