Hello guys. Frequent troller - first-time poster. I like to tinker with electronics, I've recently been messing around with my Atari 2600 and I have a question. If I wanted to make an eeprom and do some of the bank switching routines with discrete logic circuits ... well can it be done? I found this site http://www94.pair.com/jsoper/bankswitch_f8.html which looks great. If that is a possibility then which flavor of 74 chips would be compatible and fast enough? My first guess is 74HCT's. Thanks, Jason
