True, but most boxes are PVC at least one of the shared links was to a PVC product. Most box protector products are custom made because PVC is much more prevalent, and less expensive the PET or PP. For anyone shopping for boxes just be sure to avoid PVC. If material composition is not stated, assume PVC.

I would caution anyone from buying stock boxes from clear bags directly. Most of their boxes are PVC plastic rather then PET. Make sure when you're looking through their site you are looking at they're "food save" boxes. PVC is probably fine for plastic on plastic like these INTV carts.

New Box Protector Sizes: Atari Lynx and Super Famicom
jimpoleshuk replied to jimpoleshuk's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
I got them in a little early. Restock of Atari 28/52/7800 (fit alot of other stuff too), and SNES/N64/Jag/Odyessy2 . New size this month: SNES cart. Also, plenty more INTV / Longboxes, which I was just told, fit the Sega released Atari 5200 games: Next month Famicom cardboard, Dual Jewel case discs and NES euro short style protectors. Thanks for looking -

Bump for an update on the Atari protector status and to share a pic, I got word today on a ETA on the Atari 26/52/7800 boxes. They, along with the SNES CIB, SNES Cart should be here on the 7th Thanks to Andre81 for the Pic, these are Atari 26/52/7800 protectors. -
Yeah I've been pretty lucky. I've toyed with the idea of never getting another one online and seeing how far I can get

So this is my ATARI CIB / INTV shelf. I find many more INTV in the wild out here, only like two have been purchased on line. The Atari on the other hand, I've only found one trashed CIB locally...... On to the protectors: top shelf + Pitfall on 2nd shelf is Atari. The INTV on the 2nd shelf is all the shorter type, all in the Atari cases. 3rd shelf, those are all long box type. So glad to have protectors for them now. Bottom shelf is a mix, you'll see two short ones in with tall ones. Also there a C64 box in a Atari box. I've got the one for 550 BIN. I know it's over priced, I'm actualy just trying to advertize my new INTV box protectors with it.
-
That's my listing: As far as I can tell, a box specifically for INTV hasn't been made before. These are tall enough for the Book-Style and Activision boxes and wide enough to fit Magic too. Also, the shorter INTV games will fit very well into the Atari 26/52/7800 boxes, even the thicker Magic ones. On my shelf, I've got them devided by hieght and personally I perfer the shorter ones in the Atari boxes. I'm really happy with how these came out, it really makes the boxes pop on the shelf and makes the rougher looking games much better. FYI, Playstation and Sega long boxes fit into these perfectly too. I think Ianoid bought some of these last week. Maybe he'll come by and chime in.

Sadly, I couldn't find anything in stock for INTV, so I've got a custom order going in.
-
Thanks for the plug Curious Sofa Justabum is not doing it anymore. I've got his stuff now. Phil, Clearbags is a good company, and that product is PET, so you're good there. Personally, I don't mind the extra space, (I use the Classic (oversized) NES and SNES myself) but I know many of the NES & SNES collectors find that extra space appalling. That why I've got custom sizes. If any one wants a sample of mine. Shoot me a PM.

The Atari ones are $0.83 each, I can fit ~55 in a flat rate envelope and ~300 in a flat rate box I ship international
