  1. Actually, I would love something like this, maybe made with a replica controller instead?
  2. That was over the course of a year I think. Mans gonna works.
  3. I can't say I hate any of my consoles, even foudn a way to enjoy my Studio II. (RE: Hook it up and enjoy with lots of drunk friends)
  4. Well, I'm in the same minority then, cause I recall easily spending 125 hours on both Morrowinf and Oblivion. I also recall that Final Fantasy Tactics on the PS1 took me about 100 gaming hours. It's harder NOW to find gaming time when I was younger and didn't have to work and do adult things -- I got Skyrim on Sat and have only been able to put in about four hours into it. That doesn't mean I'm going to give it up, though, or stop playing other games like that. It may take a long time, but I'll sink in gaming time on it when I can and enjoy doing it. I think I maxed the timer bar out on Tactics lol. This weekend I did the weekend beta test of The Old Republic, and I think I will be sinking a lot of time into that.
  5. So I am in the minority here who had no problem sinking hundreds of hours into Oblivion eh? .
  6. For the SNES Favorite: Mortal Kombat II This was a tough choice, as I love so many of them but as a kid this got the most play time. Loved it to death and always had friends to play it with. Least favorite: Populous I know the original PC version was a favorite to some, but the SNES version was godawful and as a kid it fustrated me to no end, Genesis: Favorite: Shining Force II Loved this game, it is way I am such a huge RPG fan today. Least favorite: Shaq Fu Played it on Sega Channel, glad I did not pay money for an actual cart.
  7. I guess my CIB copy of M.U.L.E for the Atari 800, not sure what the price is now but it was quite a bit, and I got it for free.
  8. Epic necropost indeed. Still, interesting to read about.
  9. Im planning on building a new setup soon, should last me awhile once I get everything together.
  10. Well, a lot of it is on the devlopers. There is so much shovelware on the Wii that in order to be noticed, they have to do somethng to stand out. If they don;t why would I buy their games?
  11. E.V.O. Awesome game for the SNES but it costs waaaaay to much. So I just emulate and play with a SNES. I trolled adaptor.
  12. Spelunker is possibly the hardest game I have ever played. Deaths are cheap, the pace is slow, your weapon is useless and there is only one song that it plays. Why can't I stop playing it?

    1. Zedex

      Zedex

      Because it's fun.

I'd enjoy Spelunker a lot more if there was a way to disable the "fall one pixel and you die" option. Jumpman had the same problem: stepping off of a tiny little hill will kill you, but jumping off of it won't??!!

  13. I'm trying to figure out why the Channel F is on that list, its like they saw a picture of its controllers and just made up their mind from there.
  14. Great video! Maybe when my collection is not such a clusterfuck l do a video.
  15. I'm glad to see I am not the only late comer to fall in love with the INTV. Perhaps I will go into my gaming history later but as a lifelong NES fan, I still find the Inty to be very charming. I have, however been bitten by the CIB bug, God help me.
  16. As others said, the NES and other systems were the new kids on the block and took up the majority of the sales, while INTVs were extremely limited. From a financial point, it made more sense to release on the newer systems and drop support for something that had little chance for being finally successful.
  17. Imaging made some awesome games, quality boxes, quality overlays and outstanding games. I have said it before but. I will say it again, I think Beauty and the Beast is more fun than Donkey Kong.
