  1. Lets see.... 1st Gen : Pong (Mostly due to the fact this is the only system of this gen I have had any experiance with) 2nd Gen: Atari 2600, closley folllowed by the Intellivison. 3rd Gen: NES, my favorite console. 4th Gen: SNES, with the Genesis nipping at its heals. 5th: N64/PS1 tie, I voted N64 on the poll, cause im cool like that. 6th: Xbox/Gamecube tie, voted Xbox because it had KOTOR. 7th: Xbox 360, the only modern console I own. Also Mass Effect!
  2. Edit: Did not read that properly. As for that I am not sure, per haps a 60-72 pin adapter on top of a 72-60 pin?
  3. The internal power would surpass Blast Processing and Nintendo Power and eclipse even the most hearty Sony and Microsoft fan-- whales would fly and the sun would go dark-- don't go there This is madness.....
  4. I used to love playing Dink Smallwood back in highschool. It's still fun to play after all these years and recently it has gotten an HD uPgradeing as well as an iOS port.
  5. After all these years dancing baby still gives me nightmares.
  6. Can't wait. The look on my modern gaming friends face when they see that would be priceless.
  7. I've had better luck with 360's than PS3's. That being said my NES, Atari and INTV all get more play than my 360.
  8. My parents had one already when I was young, so I used that one for a few years, did not play again until high school when my mom picked one up at a garage sale, really made me love the system all over again.
  9. Well, I think some of the 5 screw carts had converters in them, but I don't think Zelda was one of them. Still, this makes certain 5 screws more valuable than others.
  10. I prefer the the NA model because of it's bulk. I have a soft spot for bulky electronics with hard edges. Think it's why I love the look of the NES and 2600.
  11. Never had a problem myself, but the last time I used one it was on a CRT, no idea how it would effect on a HDTV.
  12. Yeah, most NES systems of that style need their cart connector pins re-shaped or replaced. It's pretty simple to do. Also, snipping the chip that tells the NES "Hey, here's a good prank to play on humans, keep restarting over and over" is a good idea. Ever get the one where it will boot up, you will play it for awhile and the power turns off. The button is still pressed in, but nor ligts, nothing. You can turn it back on and it works fine after that. Gotta love that one.
  13. Agreed! BOOKMANS! I miss going there, but I live in AR now and nothing compares to that. The Armadillo antique store also has some booths with classic gaming stuff. It is north of Metro Center Mall.
  14. Payment sent! Gee I hope I don't get any violent video games! By golly gee! Can I get a free heavy sixer?
  15. I had used a 3rd party power adaptor before, and all of them had issues. They were universal NES/SNES/Genesis adaptors, the first one had the NES/Genesis plug die out but the SNES one worked fine. The second and third one died completly. I eventually found a SNES adaptor at a thrift store and bought one for my NES. It should be noted that an official SNES adaptor puts out 10 volts, but the knock off's only put out 9.
