  1. I was talking to a guy at work who sold a boxed 2600 and some common games for 600 bucks. Seems people are willing to pay those prices.
  2. I doubt there is enough interest to get a full blown retro channel on TV, besides there is plenty of stuff on YouTube for me to watch.
  3. While I plan on getting a super everdrive eventually, I don't plan to use it for anything than playing Japanese titles in English. Part of the fun is hunting down the games and having the actual cart.
  4. Anytime we have a family get together I try to bring out my stuff and get the younger ones to play them. I haven't had any issues yet.
  5. This is why on the rare occasion I do buy a new game, I only buy Physical copies. GOG is the only place I download games from.
  6. Does the Super Everdrive support translated roms? When it came out I looked around and could not find anything beyond some hacks do not work. Anyone try this?
  7. That had me laughing so hard! One of the best reviews I have seen.
  8. Ugh, so many great RPG's! This list is sunject to change:P NES: Crystalis SNES: Seiken Densetsu 3 (sp?) Genesis: Shining Force 2 PSX: Final Fantasy Tactics Game Cube: Tales of Symphonia XBOX: Knights of the Old Republic 360: Dragon Age: Origins PC: Diablo II
  9. Shipping soon? Can't wait to find a pile of crap in my mailbox!
  10. Sounds like an MMO style deal, monthly fee for regular content update. Sports game fans are probably not going to bite.
  11. The failure of the DC caught me by surprise iirc, everyone I knew wanted or had one and was very popular, and them it was gone. Kind of sad, growing up when Ninendo and Sega were top dogs it was kind of surreal to not see a Sega console on the market, more so to see Sonic on a Nintendo system.
  12. I got some on eBay, but look out, some sellers charge way more than they are worth.
  13. It seems so, but they are not charging extra. I spend some time on the TOR forums and if they did there would be ten thousand threads complaining about it. The big issue with Orign was that they charged the full price, then would drop the charge save for five dollars. Apparently it causes some people to overdraft.
  14. Pier Solar. But hen again ive played the crap out of Oblivion, so Pier Solar is fresher for me
  15. There is no pre order fee, just a deposit. A lot of places do that. I'm not an EA fan eather, but why is it ok for others to do it but it's evil if they do it?
  16. As some one who preordered SWTOR, I noticed that there were a few issues with the Origin preorder. I bought mine at gamestop.com but those who preordered at origin got charged full price, not the five or 25 dollar down payment like they thought. The TOR forums are a mess and it's hard to make out exactly what happened, but I do no there is no fee just a deposit, but they screwed it up some how.
  17. Hell no! Hell yea! I think I posted already, but to drive the point home I definitely want a copy!
  18. I have to disagree, there are a lot of great pick up and play games for the INTV. Astrosmash, Beauty and the Beast, Buzz Bombers, Burgertime, the list goes on. The INTV controller is much better than it is let on to be, very fluid once you get the hang of it, I do prefer the 2600 joystick, but the INTV one works well.
  19. I learned to love the INTV recently, in fact I built a sizable collection over a few weeks, but still I think I prefer the 2600. A lot more games and a better controller.
  20. I like to see young people getting into these great old games and even learning to program for these old consoles. That being said, what incentive would I have to buy this hack for 30+ bucks? I already have the regular version across different platforms, including the 2600. If all this is, is a pallette swap? I am buying the DK Arcade for the INTV because it offers so much more than the original INTV version. It was also programmed from scratch and took years to make. I would love to see you go places here, but you need to start small, build yourself up and maybe in a few years you can consider a project like this, and if you do a good job, well you got my money.
