You know, the hackers not only started a war with sony, but with the whole ps3 owning community. How many people cheered when the psn went down? maybe 1 or 2, but everyone else was pissed.
also, to add to cimerians's argument, they hacked the psn down, and I'm affected by it. I bought Uncharted 2 the day before the PSN went down, and by the time I finished single player, I was ready to play some multiplayer, but no, the psn was down. I was finnaly able to play it about a week or two ago. That was Bullshit.

LulzSec is planning a Sony hack:

LulzSec
These fuckers hacked PBS not too long ago because they did something to upset them. (The Bradley Manning fiasco)
Now they want to bust Sony and prevent us from ever playing online again.
Is linux really that important on a PS3? Is playing the Super Nintendo on a PS3 really that important?
This is videogaming not fucking Afghanistan.
I bitch about Sony and Capcom as much as the next guy. At this point I dont have anything against Sony's PSN and the PS3 anymore.
Its these hacker bastards that cant figure out who they really are affecting here. They just removed another PS3 feature themselves. The ability to play online through PSN. Lets just drown the whole ship cause the captain is a swindler. Yeah right. Assholes.
Someone needs to hack the hackers... like kill thier computers, I wouldn't blame sony if they hunted down thier IP and whatnot and killed those hacker shit's computers.

I like the NES advantage, I beat smb the day I got one, with it. I like the adjustable turbo, I lets me get the perfect speed of shooting, so i can get machine gun like shooting, instead of little bursts of shooting, in metroid. Slow mo is generally useless in any controller.

I think the biggest leap is from the n64 times to the NGC times, that was a big improvement, I can't stand the look of an n64 game on an lcd, but the gamecube is good for that. the N64 is best suited for CRT tv's. Also, the games are running a lot closer to 480i/p than the n64's lower resolution.

I won't pay no monthly anything to play COD online. I'm sticking to mw2 and cod4. Oh well, maybe its time to play something else online instead, the past few times I played mw2, its been nothing but preteens yelling "your mom" and "stfu" in the mic. I've only met a few other people on the multiplayer that are decent.

... slight blu-ray delays...
what do you mean by that?

I sure am.
Looks like they upped the graphics and made it run smoother. Definately a buy for me!
Also, Its supposed to have a mission creating utility sorta like LBP.

Streets of Rage was one of the only 3 games on the genesis that I liked, and strangely, my sister liked to play it with me too. That level 4 or whatever with the jumping ninja girl hoes is so flipping annoying. I liked the stage graphics though, on a boat.

Dissidia final fantasy HD? That would be awesome!

Can't wait to play some killzone liberation.

Can they change passwords of people who already changed it?

I've been fooled by demos and promises before. I'm not going to do a happy dance until I'm playing an actual game that uses this new technology.
There's been about 2 games that use this technology, for computers only.
Not to bring up a flame war, but is the PS3 capable of tessillation?

It looks like some Amazon sellers are already preparing to take advantage of gamers who want DLC but who refuse to enter their credit card information again. They're bumping up the prices of the points cards. I saw a $10 card being sold for $18, and a $20 card being sold for $25.
why would I pay 25$ for 20$.
If someone is to buy that, They don't think properly, its just handing someone 5$ for free. Go to Walmart and just buy a 20$ with 20$.

and thier still not done with this shovelware shit? Its about time they moved on, I think.
They're gonna make this a franchise and run it into the ground, like what they do with everything else. The only thing I'm interested in that they're publishing is Battlefield 3
-
Wow, that has way too much bloom. It sorta reminds me of GTA4. why is almost every surface trying to blind me?
-
If I get an apology and a few new games, I'm 100% good with that.
The people who complain about this: i say you are whiners. I'd say your right, if this was a monthly paid service like xbox live. For a free service, this is good. Also, is there anyone who has had credit card fraud linked to the hacking of the psn? From what I've heard, they may OR MAY NOT have found the credit card data.

To be Truthful, I don't like the Genesis's sound hardware. I like general chiptunes, like NES and SMS, but the genesis just sounds like some old sythisizer from typical 80's music. I hate that sound. I prefer rock music from then, but not synth crap. Makes it less memorable to me. The NES and SMS use different more distinct sounds that don't sound like 80's music clones.
you dont like the music from sonic the hedgehog or streets of rage?
the tune is good, but the sound that the genesis makes is sorta annoying to me.

14 is goldeneye for sure.

I didn't have to get an E-Mail to change my password, it had me change my password right then and there, and I got to play some Uncharted 2 multiplayer... PSN likes me

-
Good luck with that, you may also want to just go ahead and replace your 72pin connector. I replaced mine and now my NES plays everything except the dirtiest of games, only problem is that the game has to remain up, if you press it down like you're supposed to the game doesn't work.
Actually, I've replaced mine a looong time ago, and it still works 99.9%. Mine lets me press the game down and it will work that way, in fact, It won't work in the up posistion.
EDIT: Its done. Ilike it so far, it is 10X less touchy, I can move the game up and down, and from side to side without it glitching up and crashing. When that 10NES chip was active, the slightest touch could cause the screen to go black or crash, even when It doesn't blink, then later starts blinking.
I made Batman crash without the lockout chip and some of Batman's character graphic turned in to japanese witing... I think this is something I wanna play around with....

-
Thanks. For some reason, google doesnt like to work for me. I'll soon have that gone and will be Playing batman.
-
I was playing a game of Batman on my NES right, and I was around stage 3-3 and guess what, no signs, no graphical glitches no nothing, just it looked like the power went out... then it started blinking....
I've had it. All the connectors are fine and stuff, I'm sick of that thing.
Can someone show me that picture that shows which pin to cut on the lockout chip without ruining my console? I know I've seen it somewhere on AA, but the search, as always wasn't working that well for me, and neither was google. All google was showing me was how to change the connector. I want to disable the lockout chip.

Oh no! the grammar police!
Well, you know what I mean.
yeah, the lag is a bit annoying, sometimes I load at least 10 bullets into another player, and he runs up and stabs me. WTF?
