  2. i say that thin ice, snafu, space hawk, space armada, and star strike are good games.

I'm not necessarily disagreeing, but I recall Space Hawk being universally hated as kid. Wasn't in Mattel's (loosely based) version of Asteroids?

well, i used to hate it when i was about 5, i thought it was kind of boring, but i tried it again just about 2 months ago and discovered that its not that bad. i guess little kids hate waiting for the later levels (the later levels get tough). u got to have some time on your hands for this game though, it lasts a long time like astrosmash

  3. hey, its not only people in their 30s and 40s.

and i hate rap it annoys the crap out of me. i like classic rock like acdc, def leopard, journey, and others... and some pillar

they should put that in guitar hero!

  4. Actually Windows 7 has the same requirements as Vista. Some reviews even ran in on older PCs that don't meet requirements and it ran fine. Read reviews on it. Almost all have been very positive. Vista might be a stable operating system now, but the damage has been done. There's no way MS was going to stick with Vista. Also according to most reviews Windows 7 loads quicker, runs better, and most importantly runs games better than Vista.

I watched a lot of reviews on YouTube and read many because I too was skeptical. However, it looks like this time MS did many things right.

sadly it's really no faster than xp. really doesnt offer anything worthwhile to consumers to upgrade from xp.

It's like here.. spend a few hundred dollars to do what you do now, just prettier and no fast,oh and by the way, your printer, scanner etc wont be supported...

Not exactly a great reason to go out and buy 7

if its no faster than XP, then its slower than vista (well my Vista is hell lot faster than my mom's XP). I dont think it will really catch on, like vista. I dont know why people complain about vista. Every peice of hardware and printers work perfectly on vista. the biggest problem i had with compatability was an XP printer- instead of using the disk to install drivers, i had to download them off of HP's website, so what? Complaint - oh, it crashes all the time. My computer has never crashed, unless you count the time i installed the wrong video card drivers (i fixed that ASAP). that was my own fault.

    people just complain too much.

I dont think that the OS affects games any, it just depends on your hardware.
