  1. Load sample #1 as something else, like piano, then when you play the music it will sound like piano instead the metronome.
  2. 1. Load your samples the way you always load. 2. Go to Menu Set Filters 3 Click on the "1" on top (You should see 1,2,3,4...16, these are your channels/sample numbers), then click on the bottom INTERNAL 4 Do that to all samples. 5. When you press a key on the midi controller, you should be able to hear the 1st sample. 6. Press record to record the melody. 7. Press stop when done then press STORE 8. Change the OUT to INT For some reason, you can only record with first sample (why? don't know) When you want to change the instrument number, go to EDIT, then OPTIONS->SELECT ALL, the click on the bottom desired channel number, which is your sample number. Press play and it should play with new sample.
  3. I'll check tomorrow and let you know. All samples should be in the "Amiga Samples" window. In the Bar Editor screenshot you see 01, 02, 03 etc to 16, this is where you click to choose your sample to play or record, I think.
  4. Did you change the EXT to INT, INT is for internal Amiga sounds, see the picture...
  5. I need to setup my other Amiga for this. My A1200 is not too happy with v1 Music-X.
  6. "Contains special AutoStat feature", what a BS/spin trying to cover up a bug or failure on their part. Speaking on Jam TE on 32X, I have 2 copies of the game, one of them is somehow defective, in a way that after you select your team and are ready to play. The game starts, no player sprites are visible, and then crash. The other copy seems to work now, but before was doing same thing. I was thinking I have defective 32x, but other games play fine.
  7. No problem again. Those samples and probably all iff samples should work with Music-X.
  8. It should work with settings from you first screenshot, plus that "E" needs to be selected to record, or press ESC to enable it. Maybe you could borrow some cheap Casio or Yamaha keyboard from someone wit midi ports? Is there a windows config software for your kbrd controller, maybe something needs to be enabled? OCTAMED workflow here:
  9. No problem. Back in the 90s I used Amiga mostly for Graphics, 3D, some music, and some games. I remember being blown away when I heard musing on Amiga. Here is ADF disk I made for you from Aminet. See if it works. ST-02.zip
  10. No instruments on the disk at all. You can get some instruments on Aminet here: http://aminet.net/mods/inst They are in compressed LHA format, so you have to decompress them. It's easier to get things going if you have a harddrive on Amiga. You could also make the ADF disks yourself using image maker (I forgot a name, give me some time to find it...) Edit: found it, it's HxCFloppyEmulator. You can make blank 880kb disks and then add files, like sounds in IFF format etc, then save.
  11. Samples are not on the disk, you need to find them yourself on the net, or make them yourself. You can also rip them from other mods.
  12. I had few minutes of play time and everything works fine on my end. I use a keyboard to play notes, that Amiga replays with sample.so technically it should work with keyboard controller. Midi is Midi.
  13. OK, let's try MIDI keyboard OUT to Amiga MIDI IN MIDI CH: NO MIDI MIDI ACTIVE on INPUT on Click on FILES, load your sample from df0, dh1, etc... by selecting the file and click on LOAD INSTR Click on INSTR, your sample should be there on 01 slot. To start inputting the notes, make sure that the "E" is selected next to the 12 and SP Click the icon next to MISC ==, to see the notes. If nothing works, swap midi ports on amiga adapter You should be able to input the notes. You can also use the Amiga keys to input notes.
  14. Connect your keyboard to IN and OUT of your MIDI converter 1. Load Octamed. 2 Press MIDI button 3. In the MIDI options, click on MIDI ACTIVE and INPUT, MIDI CH to 1, MIDI preset # to any instrument you want 1-128 4. To see your notes click on the button right of MISC 5. To edit notes make sure the "E" button is on (next to SP button) If something is not working, try swaping the midi cables, maybe in/out is reversed. If all that works and you can send and receive the notes from keyboard, we can troubleshoot the MIDI-X
  15. I have Music-X, Manual, midi box and a midi keyboard, I could help you. Lets try something before we dive into Music-X. Can you download OctaMed 4 or Octamed SoundStudio (I'm not sure if Soundstudio works from floppy)? Octamed is easier to work with MIDI (simpler). You can change the instrument as a midi instrument. You can use the Octamed to see if your setup works first before troubleshooting Music-X.
  16. Are you going to troubleshoot those and find out what's causing the problem? Maybe possibly a fix?
  17. I wished they made new and improved DTV64 with all the ports and with SD2IEC.
  18. It's funny how "Atari" is suing Target for a PONG patent, but they had to pay license to Magnavox for producing PONG game. In 1970s Magnavox was suing other companies for producing PONG games, if they did not sign license agreement, not Atari. Even Coleco had to sign agreement with Magnavox. Also, PONG came from Ping Pong. http://www.gamasutra.com/view/feature/130152/the_ten_most_important_video_game_.php?print=1 "1. The One That BIRTHED the Industry - Pong Patent As if any other patent could hold the number one spot on this list! Back in 1969, a man named William Rusch filed a patent application for a “Television Gaming Apparatus” that used a paddle-type control to move onscreen objects that collided with other onscreen objects. The resulting patent, RE28,50716, was eventually licensed to Magnavox, who then used that technology to release the first video game console: the Magnavox Odyssey. When a rival upstart company, Atari, released their Atari 2600™ home console that also sported paddle controls, Magnavox took notice and Atari took a license for its “PONG” game. In the decade after that, Magnavox successfully asserted its patent in multiple lawsuits against Seeburg, Bally-Midway, Mattel, Activision and Nintendo, demonstrating without a doubt that a strong patent is the perfect way to protect your intellectual territory. The Odyssey system and PONG game launched what has since become a multi-billion dollar industry, and the ‘507 patent rightfully deserves the title of the Number One Video Game Patent."
  19. I would say "Don't get the original PS3", I had 3 and all 3 are dead right now. I have a slim PS3 and it works so far, but no PS2 compatibility. So, get yourself a PS2.
  20. Just get 2 Gotek drives, very cheap, and flash it yourself, then leave them in the computers instead swapping them. You can also do the LCD mod, so you can see the floppy disk names, very easy to do also. Here are my pics:
  21. This one is very good solder sucker, works great for me. https://www.radioshack.com/products/radioshack-45-watt-desoldering-iron?variant=5717855877 Find schematics for your 5200 model and retrace the problem. I have a problem once with up/down not working properly, I fixed it be replacing the POKEY chip. Your problem could be same, or different.
  22. $54.99 in here: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1436286-REG/sony_3003868_playstation_classic_console.html
  23. In my case, I don't think it's the LASER. The disk is recognized and it is spinning. When the tray is halfway out, it will pull the tray in and tries to read the disk. There are few things that work, Remote control to turn ON the DVD, the Power button and Open/Close, but the Open/Close button only turns ON the system, then nothing. In my Nuon there is no picture. Per diagram, video comes out of few chips, NIC1 to VIC1 to Video Out. NIC1 is the Nuon chip, VIC1 is Video Encoder. I looked at the manual, by looking at the block diagram it looks like the Main chip is bad. If the LASER was bad, I would have at least a Video out with a Samsung logo.
