  1. I got your course too, and many others. I'm mostly interested in PCB design.
  2. Looks like the consensus is a NO, so back to the drawing board. I had an idea to put the joystick ports to the front, but it's harder to do, too many angles.
  3. Here is the STL file to print it, if anyone wants it. I was easy to design it. Use BRIM, rotate the button so the hole is on the bottom, no supports. Works with PS2 Select and Analog rubber button. the Select button must me trimmed to the same height as the Analog one. 5200 button Final.zip
  4. I got tired of the mushy buttons for the Atari 5200 joystick and redesigned them myself. For the contacts I used an old PS2 "Start, Select" pad I had laying around that I cut to make it fit.
  5. I was doing and selling those few years ago, but I was looking for a cleaner solution.
  6. I'm in the middle of designing a joystick extender for the Atari ST wedge computers. I'm thinking to attach it to the side of the case and use screws to keep it secured. Then run the ribbon cables from the box to the bottom of the computer. The question is: Are you willing to open the computer and drill holes for the screws? I have tried the double stick tape and it's not secured very well, especially when mouse/joystick cables are tight. Thanks.
  7. I was looking at the github and did not find any files for the PCB, is the PCB single sided or double sided? If it's a single sided PCB, can I have at least the PDF of the layout, I would like to try to etch it the manual way.
  8. I could design the cases, if I could get one. I'm not an expert in 3D CAD, but I can do it. Similar to Ben Heck's, maybe.
  9. I wished that they had more games per cabinet. The Centipede, Missile Command combo is very nice, and the Final Fight with Strider is good too, but I can't have 2 cabinets. Dilemma... Speaking of original Arcades, I would love to have original Deluxe Asteroids with that cool 3d effect and vector graphics.
  10. Hey, I just noticed this thread! I have 2 Nuon's. Toshiba SD-2300U and Samsung N501 both with remotes. The Samsung is a newer addition that I got a year or 2 ago. The Toshiba much longer. I have only one Logitech controller and 5 games, Space Invaders XL, Tempest 3000, Merlin Racing, Freefall, and Ballistic. I got the controller way back on Ebay for like $20 brand new, and I can not believe they got so expensive. Do you guys know if someone is working on Nuon adapter that you could use, let say SNES controller with the Nuon? I know the connectors are hard to come by, but if we could have just the wires, then we could solder the corresponding plug to the test points. I have a broken SNES I could use the controller input jack. I found this document explaining the joystick protocol: http://cdn.arstechnica.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/1383659488_NUON-Architecture-26-OEM.pdf
  11. Excellent project! It would be nice if you could sell at least the PCB boards (and programmed chips), or if the PCB company you got the boards from offered them for sale. Maybe a group buy?
  12. One of my first Amiga games that I played and one of the best. Great graphics and music. I still have the original box and disks.
  13. Like ParanoidLittleMan wrote, I think USB floppy drives may not work with FloImg software to copy your disk (if the disk format is not standard). To format the disk in 720kb in Windows 7 and up you need to use the CMD: format a: /f:720 or format a: /t:80 /n:9 I'm not sure which Windows version removed the ability to format 720kb disks from GUI, may work from command line.
  14. AmigaKit is in EU, but they sell to USA http://amigakit.amiga.store/product_info.php?products_id=1228
  15. You need this adapter to use PC keyboard in Amiga http://amigastore.eu/en/360-pc-keyboard-adapter-lyra-3-bigbox.html, plus DIN to miniDIN adapter on A2000. For A1000 little bit harder, you need custom miniDIN to RJ11 adapter.
  16. That's what happens if you miss few days of reading.
  17. It would be funny if the took their $3Milion Indiegogo funds and quickly come up with something. I mean it's possible.
  18. I have been reading this for some time, but it's too long right now, did anyone post this article? : https://www.theregister.co.uk/2018/06/21/atari_interview_in_full/
  19. I saw your post in the C64 subsection that you just got the C64 mini, and you liked it, and now you are selling it.That's a lot of effort to play for one day.
  20. Amiga Forever is great and the cheapest one is $10 sometimes. Out of the box everything is configured and runs.
  21. Minimum for Wolfenstein is about 1.7MB. The game works fine if I copy all files from 2.5MB floppy image to the RAM disk, so the files are fine. It's just the game does not like to run from floppy, at least for me.
  22. I posted in other thread that the 2.5MB DSDD floppy image works fine with Gotek, however Wolfentein did not load correctly with it. I got corrupted graphics etc. There is no option to create 1.5MB DSDD disk in HxCfloppyEmulator software.
