I got both VT2000 and VT4000. You can use VT2000 as a simple genlock, there should be an icon to start that in the VT folder. I think you said you have 2MB chip RAM in your A2000, so that should help you alot. TBC's stabilize the signal from video source, especially VHS. To sync 2 tapes, you will need to 2 TBC's or one with 2 inputs. The TBC can also be used to strip the Macrovision from VHS tapes and make a copy, if you like to know.

That make sense now... I was thinking to get one for A3000 or A4000, but when I decided to get one, they sold out, oh well...less money to spend.

I see you put BigRam in your A2000, is that actually working?, I read that these boards work only on Zorro III machines (A3000/A4000). The A2000 only has Zorro II slots. Max RAM on Zorro II autoconfig is 8MB.

My A2000 is fully loaded too: A2091 SCSI with 4MB, 030 25MB with 2MB, Megachip, Video Toaster 2000, Time Base Corrector board, CDROM, Intel SingleBoardComputer 266MHz with Sound Blaster (for that I had to solder the missing ISA slots to get the 16bit port working.) This beast is heavy!

See, same A4000T, different user, hacked account, beware! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ultimate-Amiga-4000T-Loaded-/263080219855?hash=item3d40cd94cf:g:T4kAAOSwi1tZYplL

I checked sellers history, they are selling comic books and collectables from UK, and recently all their auctions were high value items with the same description to contact them outside Ebay msg system based in USA. Right now you can see in their store, that most high value items are removed from listings, leaving the comic book stuff. I believe that his ebay store got hacked, I have seen this before. And YES, avoid at all costs, and I also believe that this A4000 listing will show up on other sellers store.

I have seen this picture of A4000T before few years back, and it was from a hacked ebay account. If you check other items from that seller you will see the same note and the same price. I wold avoid at all costs! Good catch! Edit: It looks like the real seller is from UK, but the last listings are from USA. Hacked account for sure.

WOW! $150 for Megachip, I have one suck in my A2000. Very useful for Video Toaster. I sold my second plain A2000 for that much few years back.

Hi, I released a new game for the android phones called "Ninja vs Gun". The goal of the game is to cut the bullet in half, and secondary goal it to do it as long as possible for high score. I made it in MK style. Please let me know if the game is too easy or too hard. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dvuemedia.ninjavsgunfree Thanks for trying.

FS: The "I'm done with the Amiga 600" FS thread - SOLD!-
amiman99 replied to eightbit's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
The problem with the keyboard membrane is the end of it, when you constantly plug and unplug it, the end of it gets worn out and it fails. I'm not sure how it looks, but as a last resort you could cut off a little bit from the end (the worn out section), plug it in and see if it works. Make sure when removing it you release the clip first. I had similar problem with mine and that's how I fixed it. -

Setting up a CF-Card Read For Amiga500 via UAE
amiman99 replied to Sinphaltimus's topic in Commodore Amiga
I would like to get the Vampire too, I'm torn between the A500 and A600 version. I like the A600 better, but my A600 had some caps leaking (that I replaced) and damaged some traces around the caps. The computer works fine now. The A500 is more bulky and no PCMCIA slot for easy file transfer. -

I think you should be fine. A600 is the same as ECS A500+. -

Try Open Broadcaster Software software to record your videos, it's free and it works great. If you have problems you can try older versions. https://obsproject.com/ -

Racing game recommendations for use with steering wheel
amiman99 replied to Cynicaster's topic in Modern Console Discussion
For PS3 you NEED to get Gran Turismo 6, so far it's the best, and way better then GT5. The one problem with GT6 is the update process, it will take you few days to update it. Another one is Dirt 3 for PS3 Oh, and the one that I enjoyed most is "Need For Speed Shift", very fun game, almost a SIM. For PS2, GT3, TOCA Race Driver 3, and World Rally Championship, all very good games and work with steering wheel. -

Connector is different, so you still need to change the connector. But, it could be to old anyway. -
Finally replaced the A2000 PSU with an ATX PSU
amiman99 replied to eightbit's topic in Commodore Amiga
Nice! I converted an AT PS for my A4000 some time ago. I put the innards of that PS inside the A4000 PS housing for authentic look. I had look for a small PS to accomplish that.
