I think RetroPie name should go under Trademark laws. https://www.uspto.gov/trademarks-getting-started/trademark-basics And you don't have to Trademark it, but it's recommended. As long as you can prove it that you used the name first, you should be somewhat protected. That's my understanding.

(SOLD): Mac Mini G4 1.5GHz (1.25GHz) 1GB RAM, 40GB HD

The MacOS 10.4 supports MacOS 9 applications using compatibility mode, which I installed on this Mac. I did try to run my old Mac Doom on it, but I don't think it was working properly. I'm not sure. -
I wished you replied sooner, I just purchased one from EBAY and waiting on delivery, I hope it works fine, if not, then I return it. Then will see.

I had 3 FAT ones die on me, so I got a Super Slim last holiday for $70. So far it works great. Looks for missing warranty sticker, avoid if it's missing. Look at the charging port make sure that is not damaged, lots of kids just shove the connector in w/o care. I have one six axis controller that it's not holding the charge, you can charge it and use it, but next day or so will discharge, in this case I would press the PS button to see if it turns on after few days. Make sure it's clean, no dust on vents. Check USB ports for damage, kids don't take care stuff. My new PS3 had damaged Ethernet port, one pin was bent, I new before I got it, came to conclusion that I'll use wireless anyway. Good luck

I had a similar dilemma with a very good video digitizer, it's called VideOh! https://storage.microsemi.com/en-us/support/_eol/video_prod/avc-2010/ This thing only works with Windows XP and lower and I could not get it to work with Vista and 7. It's an excellent video converter, I used it to convert VHS tapes to DVD. So, I still keep my AMD Duron 1.3 GHz PC with XP, just for that. -

This was the plan a long time ago, but sometimes the plan does not work out. -

You could use wire cutters to cut the battery out, no need to desolder, for now at least.

I think your Nuon should fetch around $100 or more, the Toshiba SD-2300 just sold for around $100 with shipping ($70 BIN) on Ebay with out remote. The Samsung is a better player because it can play homebrews. I have your Samsung system and it's my primary DVD player in my bedroom. I also have 2 Toshiba players, one of them maybe for sale.

It will work fine w/o battery, you can remove the battery just fine. also, get a q-tip and clean the leak area with a Vinegar to neutralize the spill, and then with alcohol.
-
You need to wiggle it from side to side.
-
No, don't assume anything, you need to find the pinout with the description. Use this site for reference: http://wordpress.hertell.nu/?p=282
-
unplug this cable: http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/images/a2000-atx-power-socket.PNG
-
Unplug the cables from power supply to the motherboard, and turn the ps on, does the fan spin? Check the voltages, use google to find the pinout and voltages.
-
Is it flashing everytime you turn it on? Check if you did not drop a screw or something metal inside. The power led should stay on when you switch it on.
-
Lift it from the front and be careful not to drop it in the back or you may damage the flat video chip.

Anyone interested in ps3 system backwards compatible? sold
amiman99 replied to theatarifan's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
The backward compatible and good for collectors who can keep them working. The FAT PS3s are super unreliable, I had 3 of them and ALL of them died. One of the lasted till last year and died before Christmas, so almost 10 years. My original 20GB died few years back and it was the one that I did not used much, hoping for it will last longer. The six axis will work on any PS3, I have the super slim one and it works fine on it.
