As long as I can remember I've always trusted professional game reviews from IGN and GameSpot to advise me on which games are worth playing and which aren't, but I'm starting to think that modern game reviewers have just gotten too picky. When you're slamming a game and giving it a bad score for running at 30 frames per second and not 60 that's just ridiculous.

I got one of those 'Pandora's box 4s' jamma emulation kits because it was cheap. Turns out it's cheap because it's total garbage. I hope people don't start thinking old games are supposed to play like that.

I went to replace the household's old broken Xbox 360 with a PS3 this week and was rather shocked when the game store sales rep informed me that most PS3 games can't be played off the disc and that the discs are just used to install games to the hard drive like on a computer. As you might have guessed I left without purchasing a PS3.
