Not without adding a hex inverter and only up to 4k. You would need to be using 2532 eproms for the easiest method, 2732 works as well but there is more work to be done. Anything over 4k will need a custom made PCB with supporting logic in the flavor of bankswitching to properly run each specific size and requirements of the program.  Also, I don't think that burner supports 2532's or 2732's but I could be wrong on that. It might not burn the most commonly used PLD's for the logic either (22v10b) but you would have to check on that. I know the TL866 didn't.

Something like this wold work with for 2532?

    https://www.8bitclassics.com/product/atari-2600-2k4k-pc-board/

    Adapter for 2732: https://www.ebay.com/itm/4Pcs-2732-to-2532-EPROM-adaptor-4-Pcs/254357145910?hash=item3b38de0936:g:lasAAOSwdhdcEyNi

Is there a EEPROM equivalent for the 2532 EPROM? I don't have UV eraser, and I'm not sure if I want to buy another device just to erase the chip.

    Thanks

  2. I finally got the eeproms from China, and was able to program few chips. Works like a charm.

    Thanks for the tips.

What eeproms I can use for use on Atari 2600 carts? I would like to make some homebrew carts for 2600. Is it possible to desolder the ROM from a commercial cart and put eeprom in it's place?

Tempest 2000 is on my wanted list, it reminds me of Livewire on the Atari 8-Bit.

I've seen rotary controllers on ebay, they're quite expensive though, but I might get one if it does enhance the game that much.

It's not that hard to mod the controller yourself, if you know how to solder few wires and drill a hole.

Controllers in the US are $20, encoders under $10, and so on.

No idea, it's been so long I don't recall. It has a set-screw so it tightens up.

I only have two left.... @joeatari1 and @tripled79 are in line.... send me a PM if you still interested.

I'll be third or forth in line, so probably it's to late. The thickness of the rotary shaft is 6mm, if the hole is too small then it will not work anyway.

Let me check, I am sure I have a few left.

I just modded my controller and 3D printed the knob, but your knob would look nicer. I may be interested in one, what is the size of the knob hole?

  6. I purchased the TL866 II programmer and I should get it soon. I also got the 32k eeproms from China, but this one will take some time to get it.

Can I program Atari STe TOS chips with that? What part number to use?

All that is new to me.

  7. I'm new to EEPROM programming and need an advice.

I'm looking into buying a cheap programmer:

    TL866II Plus

    XP8710 USB Programmer

    Sofi  sp8 USB Programmer

I want to program MSX roms to a real cart, I think using 27c512, 27c256 and 27c128 eeproms.

I think the TL866II will work, but the other ones are cheaper, the question is, will the xp8710 and sofi sp8 work with above eeproms?

    Thanks

  8. I'm looking for ANY D-VHS movie, D-THEATER . I want to test my DVHS VCR with a HD VHS tape.

Works fine with normal VHS, but I dont have any DVHS to test it with.

I tried to record from FireWire, but it did not work.

    Thanks

  9. Here are 2 models that are aligned.

I made the logo and slot cover hole same height at 2 layers when first layer at .35 and others are .2mm

Use this link to show you how to merge them in Cura: https://support.ultimaker.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011738340-How-to-merge-and-group-models-in-Ultimaker-Cura

Let me know if it's better.

I wish I had Red filament so I can do it myself.

How much does the cover weigh in grams? The reason I ask is that my local library does 3D printing and they charge by the gram - about 20 cents per gram.

Software says it's 14g, my scale says 13g. About 1hr print time. Print at .2mm or .3mm layer height.

    Good price.

Thank you for that.  Here's a print I did of it.  Can you make a solid out of the "Jaguar" cutout for an additional .stl file?  I'd like to do a print with a proper inlay.  For this one, I just poured paint into the recesses and sanded off the excess.

    That looks nice!

I have one tip for printing, if you think that the logo is too deep, try to position the print at -1mm on the Z axis or more.

I'll make one cover with out the logo.
