  1. OK, I was doing some tests and I have some nice results so far. Looks like you can use an Amiga with Workbench 2.1 and higher and PCTask emulator to write Atari ST floppies. I'm using A1200 with WB3.1 and 64MB RAM (it should not matter to have that much, but you do need some fast ram), PCTask v4 and DOS program STDISK.EXE You need a DOS boot disk on 720KB floppy and a PC hardfile with DOS on it. There is a software on Amiga that lets you write files from Amiga side to the Hardfile, this is the way I was able to put the Atari ST disk images onto virtual C drive. As a test I wrote a 720k ST image and I was able to read it on Atari ST.
  2. Are you after one for a remote wireless controller or something else? I had a search on ebay US, UK, and AU and found only this being the closest match (slightly different style plug though) but it means you would have to buy the whole cable just for a plug. http://www.ebay.com/...d#ht_500wt_1202 The connector I'm looking for is Atari DB9, and the one in the auction is SIO Atari cable, completely different connector. I need them because those plugs don't have screws on the side, like a typical DB9 serial cables. I need them for joysticks and mice I'm making. I may use an extension cables and cut off one end.
  3. I see the screw in the picture, I wish I could get these connectors somehow. I need it to.
  4. Like this? eBay Auction -- Item Number: 310389498519
  5. I don't think you can find exact Atari style plug like that, they're molded. You could use something like this http://www.networktechinc.com/nti/images/items/db9-hood-shld.jpg , maybe redo the connector with new one. There are many styles found on like. Another suggestion is to use a plastic glue gun. First create a mold, then put your cable in and apply hot plastic. Never tried it, but I was thinking about it.
  6. I got 2 Dingoos (One is an original and other could be a copy or a later model that doesn't play GBA), Gemei 760+ and GP2x Wiz. Out of those my personal favorite is the GP2x Wiz. Plays every thing perfect, even some PS1 games. Plays Doom, Quake, Mr Driller and others too. The only gripe I would have is the right side buttons, they're just to close to each other. If I find cheap Caanoo, I may get it. There is another game system on the block: This one: http://www.dealextreme.com/p/jxd-s601-4-3-lcd-android-2-3-game-console-w-wifi-g-sensor-tf-white-cortex-a9-1ghz-4g-115345 And This one: http://www.dealextreme.com/p/android-2-2-7-0-lcd-resistance-touch-screen-game-consol-tablet-w-tf-wifi-camera-white-silver-112403 And this one: http://www.dealextreme.com/p/v10-android-2-3-5-0-lcd-media-player-game-console-w-dual-camera-wifi-tv-out-white-4gb-118033 Basically an Android game systems with proper buttons, some look like Vita and some like Wii U controller.
  7. The shipping would be not economical from USA. Here, you can get them from Radio Shack or Altex, you may need to try some local electronics store.
  8. If you have Kickstart v2 and higher in your Amiga 2000 then you can format DD 720K disks and copy files that way. The WB ver 2 and higher have CrossDos sw which lets you use DD disks from PC. Another idea, that I did not try, is to use PC emulator on Amiga and yous a PC DOS program to write the floppies. (I need to try this one day)
  9. The MCC-216 http://arcaderetrogaming.com/shop/category_9/MCC-216-bulk.html?shop_param=cid%3D%26 can do it for $150 and it can be an Amiga, C64, Apple II and Atari 2600.
  10. I have a mice for sale for $20 shipped see here: http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/194792-atari-st-and-amiga-mice-for-sale/page__fromsearch__1 PM if interested
  11. Was playing this game just last night, and yes, it did take me some time to find it, right here in AtariAge. Good luck
  12. The A2500 comes with A2091 HD controller, you may need a install disk if you want to use WB v1.3. The v1.3 WB doesn't come with HD install or partition tools. The first thing I would do is to upgrade the ROM chip to 2.1 or 3.1. The WB 2.1 and 3.1 come with HD install tools, so it's easy to prepare the HD.
  13. I love this game, it's like PacMan with dinosaurs and cave men.
  14. Very good price too if it works, but I'm to far, like 2000 miles.
  15. I'm always looking, but the prices are to high for me.
  16. Still shows $42.55 for shipping, something is screwy
  17. I want one too, but with $42 shipping???
  18. Hi, I have few Atari ST and Amiga mice for sale. The mice are converted from old PC style mice and work great in Atari and Amiga computers. These mice are like new and never used before (only for testing). These mice are mechanical ones and do not use any power from joystick ports. The Atari mouse comes with an extension cable, because there is not enough room to plug the connector directly to Atari. I only have enough parts to build 6 extension cables. Price is $14 plus $6 shipping Priority mail Any other questions PM or post in the forum Thank you (The connectors in the pics may change in the future and if anyone has a source of slim DB9 connectors -w/o screws, please let me know)
  19. I don't feel any heat coming from the system after playing for few hours. As for controller, I will be making one custom joystick pretty soon. The one one I have is actually pretty good, no lag and very responsive.

    Amiga 500 items

Its possible I will have some Amiga and Atari compatible mice for sale in the near future. If I'm lucky. Most games are self boot, so you don't need WB disk to run them. As for monitor cable, check the back of the monitor and see if it's DB9 Male/Female or DIN connector. There are many versions of 1084 monitor. For now you can use the MONO video out to that monitor,
  21. My local shop sales used ones for $1 for 10, but I don't have any PC to check them, only have C= drive and Atari. Maybe it's your drive?
  22. Yes, It's a multi-cartridge 111-in-1 games. Mostly triples and hacks, got it on this forum.
  23. It's good to show pics of the battery, most of them, if not all of them, will be leaked. I would be all over these, but I just got A4000 and A1000, so I'm good. But I do have 2 A3000 that need fixin' so if the price is very good I may be interested.
