  1. I have one of these that I could get rid of: http://www.amigahist...ox_options.html

Its an a1200 that has a memory card installed. Also has external pc power supply since the old one burned out. I have os 3.5 installed and have a ton of mags and software. I live in west michigan.

I do not have the alpha gen original software though. pm me for a list of stuff I have.

I always wanted Alphagen, like you said, A1200 in rack mounted case.

  2. Thanks for all of the helpful replies. OK, I'll go with a new PS3 & keep my modded PS2.

So, how about hard drive size? I don't expect to play a whole heck of a lot of games. What are your recommendations on hard drive size? Does every game you pop in install onto the hard drive? What all does the machine put on the hard drive?

    Thanks,

    -Jason

I have the original FAT 20GB PS3, plays PS1, PS2, and PS3 games, upgraded to 120GB with Linux install, also I have the FAT 40 GB upgraded to 300GB,

The more HD space the better, with 40GB I was running out of space pretty fast. GT5 installs 8GB, other games are less, but when you buy more games and each game installs some content then it fills out fast.

Also, game patches use even more space.

I recommend min120GB, most slim PS3 have that.

As I see it, retract bid should retract all bids from shill. the selling price should be $11.00. And you Mr Andre should not care since you are a 'buyer' not the seller.

I agree, selling price should be the last price before retracting bidder placed his first bid, actually all bids should be canceled made by retracting bidder.

Also, I don't like the part that when I get outbid and then the bid gets retracted, then all other bidders can see what my max bid was.

  4. I just got me PSP bundle with Madden 12, I'm not into football games, so... I have for sale brand spanking new Madden 12 for PSP. This is not the retail version.

    See picture.

$25 shipped First class mail in padded envelope in the USA.

    Thank you

  5. I hate how this insanity spills over into real life - be it thrift stores, game stores, yard sales, etc - everyone uses these absurd BIN's as justification for their prices.

    Goodwill uses Ebay for pricing.

I saw clerks in few Pawn Shops looking at Ebay and Amazon for pricing the games  , I don't buy from them. I buy from those that post "All games are $10" :D

  6. Some people think that if most BINs are high then that item MUST be worth that much and set the price the same. when I sale my stuff on Ebay, I do reaserch on pricing, sometimes I don't even bother selling seeing how low the item sells for.

Once I find motivated seller, which prices stuff at or below ebay market, I'll buy it from him.

I use Best Offer, usually I don't bite on counter offers, my offer is already fair.

    @player 0ne

There is a house for sale for the past 2 years in my area, almost near my old house, looks like seller wont budge on price.

When I was selling mine at the same time, we priced it at market value, but it did not go, we had some viewings, but no offers

I just looked around and decided that I don't want to maintain the house anymore (I don't have time), way too much hassle. I lowered the price by 15% plus other incentives, mine house sold, other still for sale till now.

    It's a buyer market.

  7. Any one got few A1000s extra, lying around in the closet not seeing a light for few years, and willing to part with one?

Can be yellow, working, with keyboard and with all keys, front Mem cover and with 256Kb RAM expansion.

    PM if have one

    Thank you

  8. I have 2 VCrs, both JVC, I think I may have remotes for them too.

One is nice JVC Hi-Spec drive VCR with single frame advancing, almost an editing VCR, the other is SVHS JVC VCR, this one is little flaky, rewind is kinda slow.

I can give the model # if interested, BUT you may want to try Goodwill / Thrift store first, because the shipping may cost more then the VCR from those places.

  9. I liked Sega Rally Revo, so I hope this turns out to be as least as good.

Reports are that it's going to cost 10 dollars for download.

I like the graphics on Sega Rally Revo, but the car handling is awful. The cars slide like they were on ice or oil slick.

I really wanted to like this game, but every month or so I give up.

There is a Sega Rally 2006 on PS2 import, I think it plays better.

If Daytona USA is downloadable, I will probably not going to buy it.

  10. You can watch Netflix on different devices, but on the first run it may ask you to register the device, a CODE pops up and you need to enter it in the website using your account.

The cheapest option may lets you stream one movie and one TV show at a time.

The streaming selection for movies is not the best, mostly older or B rated movies. If you like TV shows, there are plenty to choose from, like all X-Files episodes, or Futurama or Family Guy etc.

They still may have 1 month free, so try it first.

    Since I got Netflix, I don't buy movies anymore, before I was buying 2 - 3 a week (used)

  11. For the longest time I wanted to start programming, but for some reason I could not get into it, my logic was not there.

I could do simple "Basic" programs, but that's all I could do.

During my research I found 2 sw packages: Scratch from MIt and KidsRuby.

Both use simple tools to teach programming, but Scratch is far more easier to grasp the concept.

I know the tool is used for kids, but I think anyone who wants to learn concepts of programming should give the a try.
