  1. PC drive will not work on Amiga, and PC drive can not make Amiga disks on PC. So, I would get Gotek in your case.

There is a way to get games to Amiga from PC, but you need to purchase a PC to Amiga cable here: https://amigakit.amiga.store/product_info.php?products_id=247&currency=USD

You also need to download the file here: http://main.aminet.net/package.php?package=comm/misc/PC2Am308.lha

And, you need to ask someone to make a Amiga disk for you, so you can boot from it, and some blank DD disks to copy games to.

If this is complicated then just get Gotek.

I think I have about 3 of the PS/2 style mice with the little 6 pin plugs lying around the house from old computers. So one of those should be compatible with the adapter or is there a chance they wont work?

    They all should work.

As far as playing games, get yourself a Gotek Floppy Emulator. If you are technically inclined, you can get cheap Gotek from China super cheap and flash the firmware yourself, or get one ready to go, but for much higher price.

I would recommend Gotek with LCD, so you can see names of the games you are selecting.

Load ADF games to USB drive and play.

Original game usually boots to directly to game when you insert the disk on boot. So, when the computer id off, insert the game, turn it on, game should boot.

To reset Amiga, press CTRL + Left Amiga Key + Right Amiga Key. Similar to DOS CTRL, ALT, DEL.

  3. It depends what @lucifershalo wants to do with it, if he wants to play Amiga, C64, then probably it's not going to work too well.

The Atari 800 emulation is really good, and it was made be fellow AtariAge user @foft .

ZX Spectrum is also good and it works on NTSC Monitor, so finally I can play UK games on NTSC TV.

I wish they opened the system so everyone could develop for it, we would probably get better ports.

  4. I'm going to post this here and some other Amiga forums before it goes on Ebay. It will be cheaper here for obvious reasons.

For sale Amiga 4000 with 68040 25MHz CPU, with Video Toaster 4000 board, 2.1GB Hard Drive, 3.0 ROMs and ClassicWB OS installed. Comes with A4000 books (some are yellowed), floppy disks (tested working), and Video Toaster manual (cover is stained).
The CPU card has new capacitors installed.
The power supply has a "newer" internals, it was swapped from a PC power supply about 15 years ago, maybe more.

Below are some flaws I could find:
The power button on the power supply (internally) is shorter than it should be. Power supply rod easily pops off when the case is open.

The clips on one of the SIMM socket are broken, and the memory module is held by a putty. Works fine. Needs a new SIMM socket.

Battery was removed before it could do a significant damage. See pictures.

Missing CPU standoffs, it means the CPU card is not screw in securely to the motherboard.
There is some discoloration on the front face and the keyboard.

The keyboard's space bar is loose a bit, do to broken piece under the space-bar. Works fine.
The floppy drive is not A4000 original, it came from an external drive, so the color is different. Works very well.
There is a broken screw behind the face plate. The caddy that holds the CDROM and floppy drive is held by one screw, should be 2. (the screw was broken when I try to remove it, it was pretty tight).
Joystick port is bent a little.
Case has scuff marks all around, not perfect.
Amiga mouse has worn off Amiga Logo.

The A4000 is stable, was able to do few hour renderings in Lightwave. Play some Doom, run Shapeshifter etc.

I'm not sure how much to ask, but some prices on Ebay are crazy good. Some are more than $2k.
