  1. http://sanantonio.craigslist.org/vgm/1980636867.html Found some Atari 2600 games for sale in San Antonio, TX Anything good or rare on that list? Not mine, but always looking for something nice.
  2. I'm mostly Amiga person, so I'm not that familiar with ST line. I do have an Atari STE with 4MB RAM (the local computer store was selling key chains out of 1MB 30 pin Simms, so I got 4MB for $4), but it does not see much action from me. If you guys wanted to show off your STE (not ST) computer, what would you recommend? I'm looking for games written for STE or Demos to play on my TV.
  3. I decided to use sniping (place max bid +few $$ more) few seconds before auction ends. There were many auctions I lost few seconds before end. Looks like this is a new way of bidding now days. This form of bidding maybe beneficial to the sellers, because some people can overdo it placing higher bids then they should. For example, watch any auction for Amiga CD32, you will see that people bid over $200 to get that. IMO that's way too much, last year they were going for $99 NOS from China, now OMG. Even sniping does not work, too many people want it, same for Atari Falcon.
  4. Here is what I did: I have Neo Geo MV1FS, i think the MB is jamma compatible, it does have switch to set audio as mono Video, I have a Commodore 1084 monitor, I used RGB and Sync tapped in the MB Joystick, I had a old PC jostick, removed all components, solder wires to the PCB and 15DB connector. I used old printer cable cut on both ends. Audio, Use headphone out, make custom cable. Power supply, had some 2A 5V PS from wireless access point, cut the end, solder on MB some pics... I'm trying to get some Metal Slug on Ebay, but always getting outbid.
  5. The Atari is still available and I can lower the price to $40.00.
  6. Is sealed Mario Bros for NES really worth $555???? You could almost buy entire Atari Jaguar collection for that much money.
  7. I softmoded my PS2 few years back, i forgot the name, but with this mod you dont need any trigger disk anymore. Just plug the mem card and boot. I used XPORT to load the file on the mem card. I installed bunch of MY original games on 160GB HD for my kids. I'm anal about scratches and damage to the game case and booklet, this way they don't touch my original games .
  8. I love how you don't even know if the tg cd is an add on or stand alone system (it would take you 5 seconds to find out with an online search) YET you are an authority on the prices of the rest of the stuff I am selling!? ............ *Ignored* That was funny ) Bump for a laugh
  9. For sale used N-Gage gaming phone with 2 games, Racing game called "Asphalt" and Tomb Raider. The Asphalt game is actually pretty good racing game. I got the phone to play games, so I never used it to make phone calls, and I'm not sure if is locked or not. I have ATT sim card never activated so I can play the games. The battery holds charge very good, was charged like 2-3 weeks ago and still holding charge (when phone is off). I have no charger with it, I used the one from my other Nokia phone. You can find it at local Goodwill store for like $5.00. The price for everything is $35 shipped in the US, that's for the Phone, 2 games, small game case and shipping USPS Priority. Accept Paypal, you pay fast, I ship fast, you pay slow, I still ship fast OOps, I do have the cover in the back, it's just open. Edit: Price change
  10. I don't know about the rest of you, but if I see an item listed for 3 or 4 times what it's worth with a "best offer" option, I NEVER make a best offer. And yeah, it pisses me when people do it. It's just how I feel. You end up situations like these employees using the prices all the time. It's not the employees fault. They are just looking up a price. They don't know that it has sat in someones store for the last year and a half clogging up all of our eBay searches. Last year I wanted C64c, and I saw one but it was "Buy It Now" for like $100, but it have "Best Offer", so I submitted my offer at $15 + $35 shipping and the seller agreed, so sometimes you just need to try. If you look at it my total cost was $50.
  11. I have one example of this, I wanted to purchase USB PS3 to PS2 joy-pad adapter in local MOM/POPS game store. It had no price, so I asked. She went on Amazon and Ebay to search for prices, for like 10 minutes. She came up with $7.50 because the prices were between $5 and $10. But, The Amazon incorrectly marked other product with this part number making it cheaper then it's worth. The real price on EBAY was $30 and people were paying that, because this model had PS Button, and the ones on Amazon did not. At this time I was lucky, but I did not like the fact that they did that. So beat them in their own game.
  12. From what I have found out, JAMMA is a standard which arcade cabinets are built. What it means is that if you have JAMMA cabinet ready, any arcade board which is JAMMA compatible will be able to use the cabinets VIDEO, JOYSTICKS and COIN mechanisms. I personally have a NEO GEO arcade board which has JAMMA connector, so if I install this board in JAMMA cabinet I will be able to use joystick and video w/o any conversions. As for switching games, normally you would buy new MB/game. In NEO GEO's case, you only need to buy MVS game cartridges and you are ready to play. In near future I will post some pics on how I converted my NEO GEO to play w/o arcade cabinet.
  13. Hi, I have Goldstar 3DO system with one joypad and 3 games: Wing Commander III (4 disks and manual, one quick guide page got alot of water/drink stains so is for a reference only. The games have some scratches on them but they seem to work fine. the system has some scuff marks and scratches Asking $55.00 with around $15 shipping in the US OR Trade for at least 3 NEO GEO MVS arcade games, looking for any Metal Slug, KOF 2000 and up, any shootem ups, Maybe puzzle games, Robo Army. no bootlegs please. OR Amiga CD32 with one joypad Thank you for looking
  14. I just (few weeks ago) purchased copy of T-Mek for 32X, I always wanted that game, and I think was only released in arcades and 32X. I have played that game in Arcades any chance I had. It's not the best game ever, but it's entertaining.
  15. My short list: Metal Slug series Sentinel (C64, Atari PS1) Lemmings Galaga Tempest, Tempest 2000 Centipede
  16. I've never played downloadable content on a modern console. What happens if the hard drive / console dies? Do they let you freely re-download the games you've already paid for, or do you have to purchase them all over again? Also this would suck for people who'd rather not pay for broadband internet. And as you say, it sucks in terms of preserving games. Users would have to make an effort to preserve such games beyond the point where the companies care about doing so... on private servers and such. On PSN Network, like in my case, when I purchased another PS3, I was able to re-download all my games to my new PS3. The purchase was made under username, not specific PS3 unit. But...if in the future the service is no longer available and my PS3 dies, then I will probable loose the games.
  17. One of the most funniest video I have seen recently, when I saw it, I had to share it )
