Thanks
Is the schematic on this page correct?

I only have 1 quad buffer chip, so I need to be selective in what buttons I'll use. I can skip up/down for sure.

I have a question about the rotary controller.
When making a rotary controller from scratch, with out reusing original Jaguar controller, do I need the diodes, and line buffers in my design?
I noticed that almost everyone is making rotary controller by modifying or using pcb from the controllers.
My goal is to reuse a broken NYKO Sega genesis pad.

I'm interested in SCSI drives, 1GB or bigger.

How does the rotary controller work, is it the same as mouse (using one of the axis?) Can I modify a Atari/Amiga mouse for that purpose?
-
Is it possible to use mouse to play the Tempest 2000?

Also, at the same time, all 32x games were $9.99. Good times.
Too bad that I lost my Kolibri and Primal Rage during my move.

I remember when 32x units were $20 brand new (which I got it) and Super Mario / Duck Hunt were $1. How times changed.
Free bump
Good luck.

12 hours ago, Punisher5.0 said:Not much really. The system still works. I got a dead CECHA01 to recap but haven't got around to it yet. Im lucky enough to still have a job. If I get laid off then I'll use that time to fix another one.
Let us know how it goes. If it works, then I might get one.

any updates on recapping?

GP32, I have the same problem. The flash ROM chip is loosing it's contents for some reason, and it needs a reflash, which is almost impossible.
I built a special interface to do that, but I was unsuccessful, because the sw gave me an error.

3d print one?
How does it look like? I could design some for you.

I'm thinking that I will probably skip the PS5, at least at launch. I'm not done with PS4 yet, but the constant updates, huge file sizes, HD upgrades (I have 2TB HDs, one internal and one external), it turns me off a bit.
Maybe in the near future, there will be a "killer game" that I want, then I will change my mind.
I have been Sony follower since the beginning, I got all of them, but for now I will stop.

Thanks for the pic.
I just checked my old PS3, and... my motherboard is gone, I think I trashed it.

Can you show us which capacitor you are talking about? I have a 20GB PS3 that is sitting disassembled in the garage.

The Samsung DVD players N501 are prone to early DVD drive failure, so be careful. Mine died I think last year for no apparent reason. One day I'm watching DVds on it, and next day it's not working. My other Toshiba still works.

Mine was non working that I got for $20 on Ebay that was sold by Goodwill. Recycle!

This joystick would be perfect for you. It has real arcade quality joystick and buttons. I just got this joystick that I converted to my Neo Geo MVS console. Works great, it has a nice "clicky" sound.

Mine is on my desk, looking down on keyboard.
Did you know that there is gotek mod (at least on Amiga side) that adds screen overlay, so the game titles show up on screen? It's for experts only.

I remember the PS2 commercial that was talking about PS9. At least PS fans knows the name of the future Playstation names, and Sony made easy on themselves.

I just saw the video, all 53 minutes, very nice project.

I just got the Steam version, little too hard for my taste, but I'll keep trying.
