  1. FYI, Last weekend we had in Austin, Classic Game Fest. Gameover Games were selling bunch of Atari 2600 games for $1 each. Boxes of them. Maybe you could contact them and ask if they could sell you the leftovers.
  2. I never had Turbografx, so I'm looking forward to get it.
  3. I'm fine with the idea of someone else printing these cases as a service, especially in Canada. It does take a long time to print them, removing the supports, and cleaning.
  4. I use cheap 32GB Sandisk from Walmart that costs $3 and it works fine with Classic PS.
  5. I wish they created the Robotron, Smash TV, Total Carnage combo classic arcade cabinet. I love twin stick shooters.
  6. I saw that, looks and sound pretty nice. I need to try it myself in real c64.
  7. I was looking at this lawsuit today, just to check up on it, and noticed this: April 8 2019 "NOTICE of Voluntary Dismissal filed by Plaintiff Atari Interactive Inc. Dismissal is Without Prejudice. (Wesley, Keith)" https://www.pacermonitor.com/public/case/26556532/Atari_Interactive_Inc_v_Target_Corporation%C2%A0 Is this mean that Atari is dropping the lawsuit?
  8. I got my PS1 Mini for $40 at Walmart few weeks ago, got it modded with Bleemsync.Loaded bunch of games to my 32GB cheap WMart USB stick and it works great. I played few new PS1 games using the built in emulator and Retroarch, both worked fine to my untrained eye. I also played NES, SNES, 32X, and Arcade, all those works pretty good. I'm pretty happy that 32X works great, because I hate to setup the real thing. The N64 games were too slow, the Lynx did not work, just froze my console. So, for $40 it is a great machine, maybe nicer then my Rpie setup, more pro looking. Go get it people!
  9. WinUAE is so easy, anyone can use it. Actually, the easiest way to run Amiga stuff is using Amiga Forever (it uses WinUAE). I comes pre configured for All Amigas.
  10. Just do a LCD mod, it's very easy, you can see the files you are selecting, and no need for assigning floppy images to slot numbers.
  11. Try this website. http://tft.vanity.dk/ You will need a laptop with dual or clone display. you start the timer on screen then you take a picture, the difference in time is your delay between screens.
  12. Most modern consoles support web browsers, can you do a simple website with a test, oh, maybe there is a website that tests lag. The "8bit Guy" made a simple program to test the The64 delay seen here: https://youtu.be/GXXCj5kqPcM?t=1087 Maybe you can use this as a guide?
  13. Use some 200 grid sand paper to smooth out the edges, and it should look good. For prints with supports, try to play with support line width, spacing, Z distance etc. Sometimes try to orient the object 90 degrees, and see how the supports are built.
  14. I still have the boxed copy of this game. It is a very hard game, from the video, it looks like I only managed to pass half of the game.
  15. "Hayabusa2" Touchdown right now! Watch it live here:

    1. glazball

      glazball

Read on Wikipedia it was manufactured by NEC. That's one high tech PC Engine!

  16. I did not want to put Atari logo on my stuff to avoid patent/copyright trolls, if you know what I mean...
  17. The joystick looks nice! The file for the 3D printed cases includes left and right joystick positions, for those who want to know.
  18. I can do 12 levels, or whenever it loops to the 1st level, but it's faster. More levels then that my starts hand / finger to hurts. So I stop. Still fun for 1 or 2 quarters.
  19. You got that right! I remember playing Duck Tales on C64 with floppy drive, load time was counted in minutes, it sucked when you died, I think it was re-loading the level before you could play again. It's been a long time. So, 45 seconds is nothing. I still would like to get NEOGEO CD.
  20. Something Ben Heck would do, looks very nice.
  21. I have a Sounds Terrific I and II CDs with bunch of music, midi, mod, wav and IFF sounds. Great starter CDs to have. Amiga computer is a great classic computer to have and play with. I'm always happy to help someone getting it running. I probably know more about it then I should.
  22. I have a NTSC CD32. The system is somewhat obscure, but not bad. The games are not region locked, just different video system. Games are easily burned and played w/o a mod. Most PAL games should work on NTSC system if you have a mouse and go into early boot screen and change the screen mode from NTSC to PAL. It is a pain in the butt, but it works. One problem that you may encounter is that most TV don't support PAL, and artifact of that is a rolling screen. If you get the PAL system, then the picture probably will be in gray scale on NTSC. Both versions should work fine with Commodore 1084 monitor. What else..., you can get memory / HD upgrade with RGB out, so you can use RGB monitor with it. With that upgrade you basically have Amiga 1200, so you can run WHDLoad HD games on it. Joysticks are hard to come by, but most games can be played with normal Atari joystick. You can purchase a PSX to CD32 joystick adapter, it supports all extra buttons that some game may need. I have 2 of those and work great. CD32 is backwards compatible system with CDTV. There is a floppy interface adapter for CD32, so you could play Amiga floppy games on it.
