  1. Please, I would like to buy one EtherNEC too.
  2. I have a stock, never used Falcon bought off eBay 5 years ago. I live in Brazil, and I wouldn't be surprised if this was the only Falcon to have ever landed brazilian soil.
  3. Do you know if NetUSBEE is comercially available nowadays or where I can get one? Apparently hardware.atari.org is not selling them. My updated to-do list: - Install a FPU - Install additional RAM - Replace stock HD with CF kit - Replace TOS with Mint - Replace internal keystroke silicon contacts - Install a NetUSBEE for ethernet connection Pending: - Graphics card? - PC keyboard/mouse?
  4. Thank you so much Merlin, do you mind me pointing to a specific product you believe is the best for this task? I'll have it shipped overseas and don't wanna risk buying the wrong thing. Also, is this a one-time application?
  5. Hello, I am starting a project which consists in upgrading a stock Falcon 030 in every possible way that doesn't involve soldering nor modifying the Falcon case (due to purist reasons). Could you Falcon experts help me completing the list below? So far I have gathered this: - Install a FPU - Install additional RAM - Replace stock HD with CF kit - Replace TOS with Mint - Replace internal keystroke silicon contacts And here are some items I'm not quite sure about: - Hardware required to connect to the Falcon to the internet - Installing a graphics card (I heard of a Eclipse card but couldn't find much info about it) Thanks in advance!
  6. Hello, I would like to ask the yellowing gurus if acrylyc cases could slow/prevent the yellowing effect by blocking UV radiation. While the method described here to remove yellowing sounds amazing, I'm looking for a solution that allows me to display some of my goodies without having to worry about yellowing in the future.
  7. Hi People, I have an Atari Falcon and a 4096STE I bought on eBay some 5 or 6 years ago. Both are brand new, never used and I rarely took them out of their boxes as I didn't want the effects of plastic yellowning taking place. Recently visiting this forum I discovered yellowning can be reverted, which is very nice, but what about preventing it altogether? I'd rather have my Falcon up and running in its glory than stored in a box, and would do that if I had a definitive solution. So here are some questions: 1- What coating product works best? I heard Armor All is a good choice? 2- How often should I apply it? 3- Does coating significantly alter the plastic's original aspect? 4- I was thinking of having a custom acrylic case to store my little treasures. Does anyone know whether the acrylic filters out UV rays thus preventing yellowning? Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge.
