  1. Is this Discord channel still in use? If so, can we get a link that doesn't expire? This link is invalid.
  2. I think I saw somewhere that they have managed to hook up SNES controller, but I'm not sure how that works exactly. Check out the Discord channel where you can see a lot of info and ask questions: https://discord.gg/En2pZW6RdS
  3. Thanks for all the information, especially on setting up. I ordered one of these from Mouser and it will arrive in a few weeks. I'll be sure to follow your advice when I set it up.
  4. This looks really nice. But how can this actually be transferred to a media that ADAM uses? Can it be put on data disk for example? If so, how?
  5. The latest video and screenshots can be seen at Nintendo Nuggets. http://nintendonuggets.com/asteroid-challenge-coming-exclusively-to-wii-u-eshop/
  6. A new video showing the single player linked ships mode has been posted. http://www.indiedb.com/games/asteroid-challenge/videos
  7. A new alpha gameplay video for Asteroid Challenge has been posted that shows the updated user interface, retro graphics modes, and more. http://www.indiedb.com/games/asteroid-challenge/videos/alpha-game-play-video-2
  8. Thanks, cimerians. Yeah, the ship is definitely more powerful than other asteroid game clones. And this is more than just an asteroids clone. It has some familiar elements, but it also draws inspiration from space duel, centipede, and other retro classics. Some of those elements have not been revealed yet. It also has a lot of totally unique features that have yet to be revealed.
  9. Looks great, but I could only go if it was in Las Vegas area. My budget won't allow for road trips at this time. I've actually only been to a single retro gaming show and that was CGE a very long time ago. It might have even been '98 or '99. I'm not sure. I picked up an Atari 7800, Jaguar, and a Jaguar dev manual at the time. I still love those systems.
  10. I'm developing this game for the Wii U and i"m expecting it to be released sometime this Fall. You can check out alpha images and alpha gameplay video at the following link: http://www.indiedb.com/games/asteroid-challenge Nintendo Enthusiast recently published my developer blog with more information here: http://nintendoenthusiast.com/article/making-games-on-a-low-budget-a-developer-blog-for-asteroid-challenge/
  11. Does anyone know if CGE is going to be held this year? I went many years ago and keep wanting to go back, but haven't had the time. I was hoping this would be the year, but it looks like it's not going to happen as far as I can tell.
  12. I wouldn't think the games would be a problem. At worst, they could turn around and sell them separately and make back some of their investment. Anyway, you are probably right. Maybe everyone is waiting to the last minute to fire their bids off. Otherwise, I'll be taking a major loss on this.
  13. My SGM and 2 super game carts is still up on eBay and only at $54 so far. The SGM alone is worth $90. http://www.ebay.com/itm/131050095161?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
  14. I've listed my SGM and 2 super games on eBay for those of you who want to get your hands on this. I only used this twice and it's like brand new. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=131050095161
  15. I've decided to put mine up for auction along with King's Valley and Thexder games. I'll post again here when I have the listing official.
  16. Wow. I'm seriously considering putting mine up for auction. I've had it for months and only played it one time with King's Valley and Thexder. I can see there is quite a demand for it and I'm not even playing mine.
  17. Here is a similar one. Do you know if the buttons are mapped the same way on this one? http://www.atari2600.com/ccp7/ecom-prodshow/Keypad-Gemstick-COLCON0042.html
  18. I found this controller on Atari2600.com and was wondering if anyone has any experience with these? It looks like a decent controller that seems easy to use. http://www.atari2600.com/ccp7/ecom-prodshow/Power-Stick-PROD6424.html
  19. If that were possible it would certainly change the CV2 from just a niche product to one that could be sold more mass market. There are a lot of multi-system retro consoles out there that play 2-3 systems. However, I'm pretty sure that Eduardo is not interested in that approach.
  20. That is an awesome controller and exactly what I would want. Are these available anywhere?
  21. Yuck. I have to say I would never use that. That looks absolutely impossible to hold and use without great strain. The standard Colecovision controller is bad enough as it is, but this thing looks just unusable. Might just be me though.
  22. I love how you just threw out that $50 controller price. Man, I don't want to pay $50 for a controller. Stop putting ideas into his head. lol. I would say maybe $20 for a controller would be reasonable.
