  1. Whoa there, ever play Thunder Castle or Tower of Doom? The Intellivision was not lacking in graphics or sound, or fun. Just a general lack of arcade ports and an awkward controller.
  2. Oooh, that looks VERY sexy. Is that available for North American SNES? It fits into both the SNES, SFC, and European SNES without modification
  3. Those are sick! Badass, keep up the good work The Jag is sick, and I love the glossy Saturn with the decals and the orange SNES!!
  4. Must gets IMHO: Arkanoid Bubble Bobble Contra (the original) Clash at Demon Head Donky Kong Classics Double Dragon Duck Hunt Excite Bike Kirby's Adventure Kid Ikarus Legend of Zelda Metroid Mega Man (2 & 3) Punch Out Rad Racer Super Mario Bros 1, 2 & 3 (especially 3) Tetris/ Dr. Mario Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II 1942
  5. Do you have sound and video synced, and emulation speed set to normal? Thankyou. Now Bsnes is working at the same speed as the other emulators. I liked my game playing fast, so I sped up my game-physics to look like how it did on Bsnes before. Cool, what are you workin on if you dont mind me asking. Its nice to hear about homebrew for the SNES
  6. I did try that, I did live chat and called them, they both told me the same thing; after 12 hours nothing can be done. They told be to cancel the bids and explain. I really dont understand why they couldnt end the auction and auto cancel the bids. That would have made me look like much less of an ass. *Edit* Yeah, wow, that was disasterous. Someone bid anyway, after I sent them a message. Oi. That was insane.
  7. Yeah I noticed that after I replied. No hard feelings here either. Who knows, I might have gotten a lot more than a $1000, it just shot up to 700 pretty damned fast.. but whatever I guess, whats done is done, its going to someone I know from here, and I dont have to deal with eBay anymore. Well, at least after the next 15 minutes
  8. Lol. Well thanks for understanding.. I could care less about eBay, I just hope nobody here is pissed at me. I would never try to wrong somebody. I just did what worked out best for two people.
  9. Yeeaah.. thanks for not reading my reply right above your post. I am the person who listed that auction.. Its getting sold to someone on Atariage. Its broken to eBay users.. sorry For what it means though, I am honestly very sorry for anoyone here that was watching it, but you have just got to understand the circumstace. I did offer it up here first and early on in the auction and there was no interest. I just did what I had too, its not like I am stealing someones money, or send broken stuff to someone. Im just ending an auction and selling to someone I know..
  10. Wow, wish I would have seen this post earlier. No, I did not decide to keep the stuff, and no, I am not side dealing it to someone from eBay. Look, if anyone from AA was watching it, and hoping to bid, I am truley sorry and I mean that. And if I had decided to keep it, yes, a good chunk of it was going to go to charity. Way before the auction was coming to a close, I posted this listing in both the Intellivision forums, and here in the marketplace stating "If anyone of AA was interested, send me an offer, I would rather sell it to someone here, that I know, rather than use eBay" I got no offers on it, I only got one PM from someone here on AA. And that is exactly what happened. I would rather sell it to someone here. I am well aware that you are not supposed to end an auction within 12 hours, that is why my only option is to cancel bids and appologize. I firstly apologized as I was cancelling them, and when the very same people bid again, over and over, its getting frustrating. Well I'll tell you what, I have enough damned frustration in my life right now, why do you think I'm selling off most of my game collection. I reserve the right to do with it as I wish, its not like a single game or single system, its a big lot. All I can do is appologize and ask that anyone watching please stop bidding. And for those who dont understand what I am saying, and still want to try and frustrate my and make this more difficult for me than it already is.. no I am not legally bound if someone snipes it at the last second, because I already talked to eBay support about it, and if someone wins, all I have to do is let eBay know, and they will see that I had been canceling the bids all along. And please, I am not trying to challenge anyone, just try to understand.
  11. For some reason now when I play Doom my SNES gets these bade refresh lines scrolling down the TV. Im not sure if its an AV or Power Suply issue, but both are third party replacements
  12. Off topic, but what are some of the best Master System games IYO?
  13. I can believe it. I was tempted to get it just because I love Atlantis and Megamania, but even for re-done graphics, they just looked funny. They were obviously just using popular classics as bait for more Wii shovelware. I guess I'm glad I decided not to buy it. Were the Atari games at least motion based?
  14. I wonder if the people over in the 2600 forums have seen this already? I almost picked it up last night from Walmart in the 20 & under bin, I would have if I hadnt just bought a new laptop..
  15. Yay! I wasn't the only one to vote on Penguin Adventures! (11 votes) Antarctic Adventure was always one of my favorite Colecovision games, and Penguin Adventures takes the concept to a whole new level with better graphics and mini games, plus more diverse levels. Great game
  16. Here is an update on what all is listed The rare games of this collection: Congo Bongo, sealed in the box. Considered to be the holy grail of most gamers, Congo Bongo was the ONLY game released on the Intellivsion by Sega. You will not likely find this game complete in its original box again, let alone sealed. The box for this is also in great, crease free condition. The seal has no major tears and is perfectly straight along the edge. Fathom. The most rare game for the Intellivision by Imagic, is sought after by a lot of game collectors. It is very hard to find this game in its box, and is also sealed. Judging by the not perfectly straight line in the seal, this game may have been re-sealed at some point, although I received the game this way and would have no other reason to assume it is not the original wrap. World Series Major League Baseball. Complete, sealed. The Jetsons Ways With Words. Complete, sealed. Mr. Basic meets Bits N' Bytes. Complete, Sealed. 18. Yes it does, but because the Disk System adapter will not fit all the way down into the Super 8's Famicom port, you have to use a 72 pin converter plugged into the NES port on the Super 8 (You can also use the Disk System on an NES clone this way as well, infact, the little one made by yobo is a perfect size to set on top of the Disk System. Or if you dont care about aesthetics you could always take the top plastic shell off of the Super .
  19. No problem, the 65816 is backwards compatible with the 6502, so I guess the SNES should be able to run 8-bit code too. That is true. Actually, if you happen across the Super8, you can play NES and Famicom games on your SNES.
  20. I was hoping to get somewhere around $2000 for the whole collection, thats about 80ish games including all the sealed stuff, all the boxed INTV II goods, the video game center (holds the Intv I or System III and about 30 games and has a card holder for the overlays) and both the Intv I & System III. I was also willing to part with just the rare games (there are quit a few) and all of the boxed Intv II goods for $1000 or of course a "best offer" could be made. Those prices include the shipping/handling/materials if your in the continental US. Like I originally said, if anyone from here is interested, I am more than willing to pull it from eBay. I hate eBay and at least here I know who its going to.
  21. Wow, he could have at least dusted the damn thing.
  22. I'm sick of Genesis being thought of as a sports games and Sonic-only system. Both of you have good points. I had a SNES and loved it growing up, but I played a lot of Genesis at a friends house during the time also, so I think both systems are very good. Each system had it's pluses. The Genesis had a faster processor so it was better at doing action and shoot-em-ups. The SNES had superior sound and video hardware, so it featured better graphics and music. But a great game could be made for EITHER system if the programer knew what they were doing. The Genesis had some awsome RPG's made for it (the Phantasy Star and Shining Force games) and the SNES had some great fast paced shooting and action games for it (Gradius III, F-Zero, and Contra III) After all, it's not the HARDWARE that determines if a system does well or not -- it's the GAMES. I couldn't have said it better myself. Both systems had their their good points and their weak points. It all comes down to the effort put into the game and how it took advantage of the system, and the opinion of the gamer. As a teen, I was a Nintendo fan boy, where as my Cousin was a Sega fan boy. But we both stayed the night at each others houses almost every weekend, and we hung out a lot in summer time, and both had the same amount of fun on both systems. The only thing that gets me really irritated is when people go on about how terrible the SNES port of Doom was, and they go on to compare it to the "better" 32X version. I mean sure, the resolution is pretty low and the frame rate is slow, BUT, it is the only version of Doom ported to console that had all of the levels faithfully reproduced with all the correct textures and sprites, they only cut a couple of the levels out, but kept all the original secret levels, had all three episodes, all the enemies and bosses, and all of the weapons, plus the music was excellent. Now the 32X version, though it was fast and had higher resolution.. the music was god awful, it was missing more than half the levels, both of the bosses were missing, and the textures were all wrong. Another thing, people complain that the enemies only face forward in the SNES version.. but I would also like to point out that they only face forward in the 32X version as well. (But of course that argument has nothing to do with SNES vs. Genesis, it has to do with Williams vs. the team of Japanese developers that produced the 32x port of Doom) When it comes down to it, the only thing that matters is how much fun you have playing a game! If it had to do with anything, then why did we play the Atari 2600? It certainly wasn't for its sound quality, processing speed, or color palette and music chip.
