FS: Famicom, Super Famicom, Disk System and Games!
jeremysart posted a topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
None of the games are complete, but they are all in excellent condition. The Famicom itself is complete however, with all the manuals, the original power supply, and original tv switch box. Comes with the Famicom Disk System. The games are as follows: Yumi Penguin Monogatari Antarctic Adventure Binary Land Super Mario Bros Super Mario Bros 3 Dr. Mario Dragon Ball Z II Arkanoid I also have a Super Famicom that is in excellent condition, has two paddles, one SFC paddle, one Super Pad. The games are: Battle Tycoon Super Battle Racers Dragon Ball Z 3 Pop'n Twin Bee Cotton 100% Pure Soccer 96' I also have an NES to FC cartridge converter to allow play of FC games on an NES or NES clone. I also have the "Super 8", which is a pretty rare little module that plugs into either an SNES or SFC, and allows you to play SNES, SFC, FC, NES, and FCDS games. (It has three separate cartridge slot on it. The SNES one works with SFC and SNES games, and is region free. It has a start menu that allows you to select between 8-bit and 16-bit.) If I get too many low ball offers for the lot, I may want to keep the Super 8 and some of the games. Just PM me an offer, I'll let you know what I think. Thanks! http://www.atariage.com/forums/gallery_ips/1254209109/med_gallery_24198_387_61026.jpg http://www.atariage.com/forums/gallery_ips/1254209109/med_gallery_24198_387_54492.jpg http://www.atariage.com/forums/gallery_ips/1254209109/med_gallery_24198_387_78077.jpg http://www.atariage.com/forums/gallery_ips/1254209109/med_gallery_24198_387_45721.jpg http://www.atariage.com/forums/gallery_ips/1254209109/med_gallery_24198_387_363.jpg -
Are you referring to people talking smack about the SNES's power, or people praising (protecting) it? Honestly, the SNES had a lot of advantages over other systems of the time, like 3D capability even without the FX chip (all mode 7 games, like HyperZone, Super Mario Kart, Pilot Wings etc.) Plus the sound, music, and color was superb I love me an SNES!

Right. I honestly don't understand why he was sending me those messages. I mean for one, my auction started at .99 no reserve. I am offering gifts, and discounts on shipping, plus my auction is open to international sellers, AND a huge chunk of the money is being donated to charity both through eBay giving works and outside of eBay so screw off right? If he wants to complain to anyone, how about those folks selling PAL Stadium Events for buku bucks, or those people with titles like "AtAri pACman RARE!" And then he tells me "consider yourself to have another watcher".. . ok? Feel free to waste your time watching an auction you cant bid on with your 1 feedback. Don't see how that effects me any Some people

I know, right? A bunch of cheap asses! jk lol. LOL! Well, I guess I could take a cashiers check Hehe, a little wishful thinking there. I'll be grateful just to get enough to pay off some credit card debt and get me some new prismacolor markers. But of course I totally welcome 20k

Oh I'll regret it I'm sure, but what I would regret more is if I kept spending money on collecting stuff, while running out of art supplies and slowly stop making art. I have to agree with you guys, eBay has gotten pretty bad. There are a lot of idiots on there, and there is a lot of risk involved. And if someone screws you over (as a seller) you still owe eBays idiotic fee's. I think after this encounter, I'll go with GameGavel to auction off anything.

Wow, the jackass strikes again. Jackass: Dear jeremys-art, its spew, first of all it doesnt show up on ebay for sale because anyone who has it can not get even clse to what they paid no matter how much "marketing" (spew) is done. watchers are just sellers wanting to see what it goes forhits are basicly the same thing only sellers that are not actuall collectors. if u seriously think even 20% of those numbers are contenders to buy your wrong. also the rewrap is a joke, if its done its done and can be identified. almost the same as when sellers say untested? lol thats because they know it doesnt work. intellivision has no big game in the vintage video game world. although u would like to think so since u have some, if u didnt u would be laughing just like me. the only thing that will bring any good amount to your auction is the boxes. also ebay guide lines do not permit adding bonus items to entice bidders. your whole auction wreaks of fradualnt statements. which is pretty brazen (desprate) for a new seller. add another watcher as i would like to see myself the outcome, 1 other is the shipping calculator is there for a reason. also u can no demand immediate payment. thats why there is no opption like there is on a buy it now. bottom line is you dont have a clue as to what u are doing. and the funniest thing is that u think u do, LOL i wouldnt be suprised if u end up with a neg - the-atari-people My response: Dear the-atari-people, I would like to know how my auction is "fraudulent", nowhere in the eBay guidelines does it say no one can offer gifts. If I wanted to sell everything in my collection at once and get no bidders, I would have just had a reserve price. But I started my auction at .99 with no reserve. Everything in my collection is well taken care of and works. Who are you to tell me anything about my auction or how it should be stated. I can request that the buyer pays immediately if I want. In the past I have had people that don't end up paying, I waited days without hearing from them and had to re-list. If I don't get an immediate payment, I will just re-list. But I am not worried about that, because contrary to what you believe, Intellivision has a big market, and a big following with plenty of collectors from all over the world. I am not "tricking" anyone. Everything in my description is plain and clear. There are pictures of everything, and everything seen is what you get. I have answered all the questions that have been sent to me. There is no reserve. The price started at .99 I would suggest not worrying about my auction. I am NOT getting into a flame war with someone over the internet, let alone someone with poor grammar, a foul mouth, and a feedback score of 1. Do not send me any further replies. - jeremys-art

Wow, I just got this idiotic and aggressive message from and eBay member (who not to my surprise only has a feedback score of 1): Stadium Events Bandai 1987 38000.00 12000.00 2200.00 Congo Bongo Sega 1983 700.00 370.00 120.00 WHAT A BUNCH OF CRAP INFORMATION YOUR SPEWING. So I replied: Dear the-atari-people, With the hype of the woman who sold her NES and a copy of Stadium Events for over $10,000 had a lot of people with a lot of money being scammed. A lot of the recent high ticket Stadium Events auctions were for the PAL version of the game, which is significantly less rare than the NTSC version of the game. Now eBay is flooded with people coming out of the woodwork trying to sell their PAL copy with a BIN price of $8,000+ Congo Bongo on the contrary, being a rare game and considered a Holy Grail, shows up on eBay a whole lot less. When it does, it is next to never complete in the box, which is what a true collector wants. The last auction that only sold for $120 was cart only and had about 170 page views, which is pretty weak. There was no description and no keywords to help people search for it. It sold low due to poor marketing. My auction has almost 700 views in just the five days it has been up, and over 70 watchers. That is because I have a detailed description, bold lettering and keywords. Also, unlike a lot of scammers, I started my auction off at .99 cents. My copy of Congo Bongo is sealed, and in mint condition, making it significantly more rare than a loose PAL copy of Stadium Events. Your comment to me sounds very immature and elementary, and besides the point, my auction is not just for Congo Bongo, it is also for several other sought after Intellivision items. I fail to understand how one item is "a bunch of crap information." Thanks, - jeremys-art

Noway! I love all of those systems way too much to give up!! Too many memories. I'll let you know about the computers for sure here soon, I'll PM you some pictures when I get some. The software also includes MS DOS 5, MS DOS 6 Upgrade, and Windows 3.1 all official on 5 1/4! For sure, I probably post everything the marketplace when I'm ready, which should be too long.

Lol, you say it as though you still have to use a 300 baud modem We were just too poor back in the day to afford to go "online" sadly. So I entered in during the 56k dial up era. The internet was well along its way.. but man I do not miss waiting an hour for just one song to download. Its cool that there are still some BBS's around, for both Atari computers, C64 and the like. EDIT: I found this to be a very interesting read http://www.vintagecomputing.com/index.php/archives/161 I really want to connect to a BBS now.

I have officially decided, I am done. Over the past few years, I have accumulated about 10 vintage computers and 30 consoles, and plenty of rare things just because I "just had to have it". As much as I LOVE classic games being the nostalgic person that grew up on the 2600, CV, and INTV.. I have realized that the gaming has taken over too much of my life. I am picking up the paddle where I should be picking up the pencil.. so I'm very glad I have not gone crazy and decided to sell everything.. but I have decided to narrow it down. I am selling off about half the collection, and keeping just what I really care about: The Atari 2600 & 7800, Colecovision, ADAM, NES, Genesis, SNES, N64 and Saturn. I have also decided to sell off the thing that I care most of to prove to myself that I don't need the games. My entire Intellivision collection. I recently posted it up on eBay, not really expecting much. But in just a couple days, it has accumulated 500 views, 70 watchers, and 12 bids. As much as I should be rejoicing about a good auction, I'm actually a little sad. The ECS was my first computer, and the Intellvision is my favorite console. I still remember unboxing the ECS and typing messages on the TV for my family. I own more games for the INTV than any other system. I will also be selling all of my vintage computers, some Atari 8 bits, Commodore 64, IBM 5150, Heathkit 386 with dual 5 1/4, and an IBM PS/2 and plenty of software. I also have a Dreamcast, Famicom & FDS, SFC, Atari 5200, Atari 2600 Jr, Gamecube with Gameboy Player, and Action Max that I will probably be posting up on here soon.

If you wouldn't mind PMing me too that would be awesome. I have had a Sega CD for some time now and have never figured out how to burn backups. So Fireburner is a program then that is specifically made to burn bin/cue files as playable Sega CD backups?

Dr. Mario Story. Just came to me tonight.
jeremysart replied to tantone56's topic in Classic Console Discussion
The funny thing about that, my Aunt is in love with Tetris, and my Uncle is in love with Dr. Mario. Neither of them play any other game (except bejeweled on the computer). Although their NES and Gameboy disappeared ages ago, so for Christmas this year I got them a Gameboy Color with Dr. Mario and Tetris, plus an SNES with the Dr. Mario/ Tetris 2-in-1 cart. -
Landmark / Must Play Games 1958 - 1982
jeremysart replied to sut's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Don't quote me, but I'm not so sure you'll find many of the best "landmark" games before circa 77' But good luck putting the list together! Doing a simple search in the forums here will probably turn up a lot of the "idea" games for each console, and the forums here are conveniently divided by popular console. Also Wiki might be of some help too. -
I have to admit, that was pretty sweet.

Man, wish I had been around for that. It must have been exciting when connecting started becoming a real possibility. I remember watching Ferris Bueller's Day Off back in the day, the scene where he logs in and changes his attendance.. or the movie Evolver (if anyone remembers that one) where the kid logs into his school to cheat on a test. I was cheated because our first family computer was the Intellivision Entertainment "Computer" System which had absolutely no modem support. It didn't even have a tape drive. We eventually got an IBM 5150 that had a modem, although we never connected any sort of server on any computer until the mid 90's when the internet was already well on its way. Funny thing is, I have never had to pay for the net. A friend of mine had bought a laptop from BestBuy which came with a 2 year subscription to Prodigy dial-up, so I was able to install Prodigy on my PC and connect for free using his screen name and password. And now with the advent of wifi and neighbors without WEP

Season 1 Game 5 *Shark! Shark!*
jeremysart replied to Mister VCS's topic in Intellivision High Score Club
Heh, love this game! On occasions that I hang any friends come over and hang out, this is one of the games that everyone asks my to hook up the INTV for. Everyone I know seems to love this game. Looking forward to getting a High Score! -
I was too young when the ADAM was going through the end of its life cycle, and did not get to own one until well after its demise. Of all the things you can do with the ADAM, I cannot find any information on any website as to what you could do with the ADAM Baud Modem. Was is just BBS forum like communication? Or something similar to Telnet? What was the selling point?

Try to do someone a favour and...
jeremysart replied to coleconut's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
Ouch, I think the second message to her was a little harsh. I don't think she was trying to do anything wrong, she was just oblivious.. in anyway, would harm no-one, because if your buying Atari / Intellivision games I suppose you should know the difference yourself -
My only guess is that anyone wanting to own this game, which is supposedly a "holy grail" would only want it complete. Probably why it only has 46 views. Also high starting prices never help any auction.
-
Could have sold lower than normal for various reasons. He used the lowest possible method of selling (no bold letters in display, no subtitle)very brief description and the counter says only 170 views which is pretty low honestly. Plus the torn box top and tear on the back might be a turn off for some collectors. Personally though, I wouldn't spend that much for any one game.
-
Honestly though, you could probably do this with any tablet PC if you really wanted. And could someone please elaborate what is so good about the iPad? What exactly can you do with it, aside from applications that are already on your phone, or the internet capabilities, picture browsing and movie viewing arleady on the itouch or iphone? I can watch movies, look at pictures, use apps, and install stuff from a cd/dvd drive onto a harddrive on a laptop that is less expensive.
-
I know. But it was either try to sell my whole game collection, or part it off by console. Im not getting rid of everything I own, the just ones I love the most. Why? I guess I'm trying to prove to myself that I can make sacrifices. And my Intellivision collection is a huge one.

Cool! I have the one made by INTV Corp. but I'm bidding it off in my auction.
