Back in the Day, what was your first Non-combat game.
hurt replied to Joel D. Park's topic in Atari 2600
mine would have to have been joust and that kicked, i didn't get combat with my system due to the fact i wated till the cheaper version of the jr came out to get one. the choice had been wait for a long time and save up for a nes or get a 2600 and i went for the 2600 and never regret it. although i later got a nes but i never played it near as much as the 2600. -
i have a 2600 jr here in canada that was one with the small rainbow strip on it and the main board has the date of 1983, and that is on the main board it self not the chips so i find it hard to think that the board was made a year before the realse and i ended up getting it so i would have to say that i think the jr was out before 1983. also note that the main board has ATARI C021503 REV C on it so this in not the first design of the main board for the jr.

hello i know this is for atari hardware and if this is not allowed to be in here i am sorry for the post. well i am starting a portable atari 2600 system (i know there are already some) i want to do this just for fun and something that will be interesting. anyway i have been looking at lcd to use for the system and have found that they all cost to much, so i would like some info on the game gear screen, i have seen these on ebay for alot less than any lcd screen is to order. this is what i know about they already and makes them look like a good choice 1. they are lcd 2. they are smal and compact, 3. cheap, 4. highly avail. any help on this would be great and anyone that is working or thinking of doing the same sorta project i would like to talk about ideas.
