I'm sure I could've done better, but I only tried once. Oh well, it'll have to do.

Carts for me , put it this way , if using CDs as a games storage medium had been available in 1977 , and Atari had gone with it, well
, collecting 2600 games these days would be a whole lot harder ,and more expensive

You're sure right about that!

This subject comes up from time to time. I'm not really adverse to making subforums for specific game consoles or computers, but I don't really want to do so unless I feel there's genuine interest. It would seem kind of odd to create an Apple II programming forum when there isn't even an Apple II forum here on AtariAge. Of course, there is already a ColecoVision programming forum and no general ColecoVision forum (perhaps I should rectify this).
It's easy to get carried away and create a multitude of targeted forums that see very little use. I could create a multitude of forums for various gaming systems under "Classic Gaming General" -- Vectrex, Odyssey 2, Intellivision, ColecoVision, and so forth. Likewise, I could create a "Classic Computing" forum (probably not a bad idea, really) and then create various subforums there (Apple II, TI 99/4a, Vic-20, Commodore 64, etc) and see how it goes. Any specific programming-related forums could be linked under these forums as well.
Just how many Apple II programmers are here?
..Al
I don't know anything about Apple II programming, but a classic computing forum is a nice idea.

Fixed it! It was RevEng's idea, and i discovered it on my own. The reason I was trying to mess with it at all was to fix the various bugs. Please play this latest version and tell me what bugs you see if any.
When I clear a line the score moves by more then 1, is this a bug or a feature?
Another thing I noticed is that once the score gets into the 100s the numbers get scrambled up -

Nice game.

Maybe the red button is the power button? I don't know much about the model III, I know more about moniters.
-
If it's a simple flash (like turning on any CRT moniter) then it's OK, but if it's making vertical lines or something like that then it might be broken.
Howbout sending me an image so I can see?
BTW, It's amazing you found that in the middle of nowhere

An Apple II subforum would be great, but it would also be nice to have an NES subforum. It's a very popular console, but not too many people program for it.

And there's a BASIC compiler for that system, definitely. I don't know if it's any good, mind you, but it exists.
You mean NBASIC? Nope, that's more like assembler. I wanted something like bB
-
Do you mean the BASIC cartridge or batari Basic?
He means the BASIC cartridge.
BTW, The BASIC cartridge could only handle about 11 lines, so it's probally hard to make something nice with it

I want to make something like my picture, Would it be possible?
If you go to this site, Portable 2600 forum, there is a forum on how Ben turned a 2600 into a portable unit. I know he made a ton of different versions of the portable 2600. This link, link, is the main 2600 forum section.
I thought that it was a neat idea to make a portable 2600 so while you are out at flea markets you could test the games while you shop.
That flea market idea is great, I guess once people start buying portable 2600s, less people will be getting unplayable/uninjoyable games
