  1. Yup! I'd love to do official ports for games that didn't get releases but need to prove myself before I go licensing IPs. After this game I'll probably port it to Lynx as I have found a cool development environment for that on this very site.
  2. This is awesomeness. I'm currently making a racer for Mega Drive and was wondering how I'd go about porting it for the Lynx
  3. I actually wrote one but I see you're sorted. Damn, I thought it might come in use one day. lol.
  4. He might have meant this! lol http://www.xgamestation.com/about_xgamestation.php
  5. Pretty sure I did but I'll give it another go.
  6. Funnily enough, that was my original intention. Fun fact though, rigor mortis doesn't last that long...
  7. I don't really use them. I'm more of a display collector.
  8. I'm really hoping it's the sin. You think the pile of dead hookers in my basement could be the cause?
  9. I tried once. Started to catch on fire. Was really weird. It's actually my second copy of the game and I bought it new. It had a bit of play back in 2009 but since then hasn't really been used so I don't think that would be the issue. Worth a shot though I guess.
  10. Mine must have been faulty. No way I did that many saves. lol. Thanks for the info. I'll put my cart back in its box and find a loose one for playing
  11. This really upset me. I lost my progress (I've still never finished the game) and all my high scores. It doesn't save at all now. Does anyone know if the Jag used eproms or batteries to save? I dont want a dead battery leaking all over the pcb. Don't want to take my cart apart as in all their infinite wisdom, Atari put the label over the screws. Might just have to buy a cheap loose copy...
  12. Ah I see what you mean. Yeah a lot of it is done with animation too. Tricks you into think the car is 'reacting'. It's a super cool game.
  13. Mine too! Still play it a fair bit on C64. Doesn't really have any decent physics though, it's just like every other 2.5D game from the time. Pretty basic. You sure you're not thinking about Stunt Car Racer?
  14. Hey guys, I've started work on a 'Buggy Boy' inspired racer. I intend to commercially release when done but thought I might as well start an update thread. Will be a long road as I'm getting my head around coding for the machine as I go. Anyway, here's a screen shot. It's a mockup but the game looks identical, I just haven't put the car sprite in yet. Graphics are also not final. So far I've got the road bending and moving. Next step is to add car and roadside objects then slowly build into a game. Cheers!
  15. You weren't trying to drive the van with the Turbo Outrun controls, were you? Easy mistake, we've all done it. But seriously, claim on insurance and fix her up! Be sad for it to be taken away from the world in this way
  16. I know, I don't get it either. Now, who would like to buy my Loose Jaguar? $1000. IT'S "BOO-KAY" !!!
  17. All I know is it would be hilarious if Shatner was his middle name and his surname was Bucket. Say it out loud with me, "WILLIAM SHATNER BUCKET!"
  18. Noooooo! I think that is the worst news I've seen all year. Seriously, I shed a tear.
  19. Damn. I just won the lottery and was thinking of wasting 20k or so on it.
  20. I tried Sega 16 but for some reason I can't post. I have no idea why. I'll try smspower. Thanks!
  21. Yeah I think it's the only Tec Toy game I've owned...
