hello..

Ive got a new 850 interface for my atari 130 xe.

 

is there some way i can run a telnet session thru the 850 to my linux box

using ice-t?

 

i know how to do it on the ape.. but this on the 850... what to do!

excellent. ok.. my only other question.. where does it load the actual file into memory.. and.. where should i put this in my program

Easiest way, load it up in Audacity, then export it as an 8-bit unsigned mono Raw file.

 

Next up, you need to convert it to 4-bit packed with 2 samples per byte. You can do that easily enough in the emulator with a Basic program, just run it in Turbo mode.

 

Aside from the space issue, you should also note that playing back samples will chew up a fair heap of CPU time.

it took a little while for icet to get configured right so the text would scroll correctly

 

i had to change the word wrap, emulation and hard return codes.

weird that i can load the menu from the floppy but not the image. need to look into that. guess i just need to go thru all my old books and start reading again.

it only uses the number keys for now but i am working on a full keyboard version..

 

this is a simplified version of the synth ive been using on my last few albums..

 

when the full keyboard version is done ill release the more complex version
