    What games did you get with it? I have Communist Mutants from Space, Fireball, and Phaser Patrol. I'm looking into getting Escape from the Mindmaster at some point.

    That offer is actually pretty good. What games do you plan on getting for it? I'm just going to assume you have a tape player for it. That or you plan on playing roms out of your computer.

    Well the gun arrived today and I got to play Alien Brigade the right way finally. The gun works pretty well with the game. I heard about those Best electronics guns but I'm all for original feel, that and I couldn't find the best electronics gun listed on the website so I just went with the orignal.

    OH YES - I sure am going to give some very VERY negative feedback.

     

    But for a laugh - here is a copy of the email I sent him after I received the item this morning:

     

    "Dear cedced83williams,

     

    I received the item today. I am totally dumbfounded as to why you didn't wrap the box??? There were postage stickers all over it, usps tape, clear tape, marker pen!!! You can't be serious! The box alone is worth a lot to collectors and that is a big part of why I bought the item from you. I am so pissed with this whole transaction.

    It would have taken 2 minutes to wrap it in some paper.

    So to be honest the item has arrived 'damaged' in my opinion."

     

    and here is his somewhat bizarre reply that I just received:

     

    "Dear tom,

     

    First off the item is not damaged and the shiping cost you said it would was not right second you could say it is all you want but i have the e-mail you stating only reason its dasmaged is because of the box the system it self works fine. And if you told me you were in love with the box i would have wrap it."

     

    I find it hilarious that he suggests that I told him what the shipping cost would be!

    If only I knew he'd be dumb as all f*** I would gladly have told him that I was in love with the box ;)

    Anyone think it would be fair to open an ebay dispute given that the box is now destroyed?

    What a jerk, yes email him back saying that how were you supposed to know he doesn't wrap the item THAT YOU PAID FOR. I would say it's fair to open up a dispute for him improperly packing the item and trying to spin it as though it's your fault.

    Wow, just wow. I hope you left feedback as low as it could go. What kind of person is cheap enough to not pack it in a box and just ruin the box that you paid for. Did the system at least work? Anyway to your question, I've never really had a bad ebay expierience except for one item that I never got, but it was just one atari game, seller never responded to my questions.

    LOL, that's because they're not that expensive. That's my point. eBay is becoming filled with more and more of these kinds of sellers who way over inflate the price for R5-R7 video game items.

     

    Just look at this guy's store.

     

    $900 for a set of six N64s?

     

    $1000 for ROB the Robot?

     

    $300 for a 4 switch 2600?

     

    $150 for Pong and other extremely common Pong clones?

     

    I hope the fucker goes bankrupt, and everyone else who lists items as quadruple the market value.

    Well I just got the Atari lightgun for my 7800. It was 20 dollars, not including shipping. I already have Alien Brigade, and that is the main reason I got the gun, in order to play Alien Brigade the right way. How many people out there have this accessory for their 7800? If you do, what light gun game would you recomend, I'm thinking of getting either Meltdown or Crossbow.

    I'm still looking for a gun, if anyone has one they want to unload, or an extra. I can't fin any singles on ebay right now, and the only way they are availible in these 70 dollar XE lots on ebay, and right now I'm looking to spend around 20-25 dollars.

     

     

    I'll sell you mine for $25. I have to test it to make sure it still works, haven't used it in a while. I won't be home until to Friday and I can post some pics of it if you would like?

    Jdrew just sent me an offer to sell me one for cheaper then 25, so I will see how it works out with him, thanks for offering though.

    Hi, I was thinking now of fixing up my 5200, which works great, the case is in bad condition though. The Bezel has a gigantic scratch, that overlay over controller ports is covered in small scratches(can't see them really but just saying) and the overhang is missing from the bottom. If anyone has a good condition 5200 that is broken or is just the console, I'd take it. It needs to be a four port model, as thats the kind I use and I'm just going to be switching out the motherboards.

    I cleaned the contacts based on what that one WWW site documented and it works like a champ.

     

    I made amends with the seller and bumped up his feedback to a positive.

    Yeah, 10 bucks so an Asteroids boards, that you can't put back into a game without destroying the label or taking a very long time to melt the glue of the label, then pulling the cartridge apart. He doesn't even show the side with the rom chip on it!

    Disappointed - this Vectrex listed as in "fantastic condition" and "tested before shipped" has a bad button #4 on the controller. You may know that this is the fire button in Mine Storm...

     

    Tested - I doubt it...I gave the seller a neutral on top of the fact that he shipped it Fed Ex "signature required" which required driving 20 miles to pick the darn thing up. I requested USPS confirmation since I could have picked it up the same night only a few miles down the road.

     

    I can understand covering your butt with a signature but work with the buyer a little, too...

     

    Now, I'll end up spending more had I won a system that truly was in working order.

    Wow, that sucks. Why'd you only leave nuetral? I would have left the worst feedback possible, if he said it was working, and it didn't. Anyway, when you get a working one the best place for you to get games is going to be Atari2600.com they have a lot of vectrex games at good prices that are ussally cheaper then ebay prices(Star Castle is really rare, it doesn't come cheap anywhere, they sell it for about 80 dollars complete though I think.)
