do mame machines allow you to change the dip switches and keep the high scores? If you can't do it the right way then this would be a good solution as well

Videogamecollector123 replied to CincYnoTi's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
yea 10 bucks for each box is crazy, you can get those games complete in similar condition for less then 10 bucks -
also what's your ebay acount, I think I might have bought from you in the past
-
Yes it the joystick folds into the system, it underneath an overhang from the screen and even is still flush with the system around it.
-
there are pictures of just about every angle of it here except the back http://www.classicgamecreations.com/vecpix.html

I don't have the money right now but I might have it soon, but if you just want the vectrex dimensions they are 9¾ x 11½ x 14½

If you had any for the vectrex that would be awsome, the originals are way to expensive

Should I keep my vectrex games in their boxes
Videogamecollector123 replied to Videogamecollector123's topic in Vectrex
Yeah there actaully in good condtion just with one or two creases on the top flap, so I guesse I should just keep the games out of the box But if you are looking for boxes https://www.atari260...xes--SUB12.html atari2600.com has some Atari2600.com is a great site. But I was only kidding about needing any...In fact I need to get rid of abunch. really, what do you have and it just the boxes? -

Hi, I have couple complete vectrex games that I take out and play every so often. Should I keep the games and overlays inside the box, I'm a little concerned over the top flap and how much damage that will take, how do all you handle your games?

What would you do (Broken Neon from eBay)
Videogamecollector123 replied to the.golden.ax's topic in Auction Central
Correction, I didn't buy from him twice. He had the only other PS2 sign up and I told him to get it here in one piece and THEN I'd pay him for it. As yet, I've not paid for the second PS2 sign. AX oh, okay just don't pay him for his crappy sign then -

My question is why would you buy from the same person twice if they gave you a horrible expierience and have shown that they are bassically scammers using stock photos and lying about the condition or packing it horribly. -
Need help on my first arcade game
Videogamecollector123 replied to Videogamecollector123's topic in Arcade and Pinball
Also, what would be the hardest part of maintaining a Super Breakout machine? My dad loves that game because he played it alot during college and I think he'd like it if I bought one. -
Need help on my first arcade game
Videogamecollector123 replied to Videogamecollector123's topic in Arcade and Pinball
I have owned and currently own some of these machines except for Qix and Q-Bert. I never had any problems with Robotron, Ms.Pacman, or Asteroids. Missle command I had a few minor problems which I actually got fixed by joining the AA website and getting great advice by one of the moderators. Centipede has been a nightmare though, 3 boards and a (power supply?) later, and it will work sometimes. So in my opinion Asteroids, Robotron, and ms. Pacman are all pretty safe bets. I will say that I have owned Robotron for the longest (20 years, bought it a few years out of high school) and it has never once let me down. Another machine I have owned for a long time is Ivan Stewarts 'Off road' and it still runs like new. Alright thanks for the info, now I just need info on Qix, Q-bert(I expect to be a little more high maitnence due to the solenoid inside), and Millipede -
Hi, I'm looking to start saving up for an arcade game soon but before I do I just wanted to know which of these machines I'm interested in has the most reliable, the machines are Ms. Pacman, Qix, Q-bert, Robotron 2084, Asteroids, Missile Command, or Centipede/Millipede. I want the upright versions.

Get the four port one. I love mine and it works alright and my switchbox works great. I wouldn't get a two port because it has differences in the cartridge slot that make it incompatible with some 5200 games while making is compatible with the 2600 adaptor. There are also a few four port 5200's that have asteriks in their serial numbers, that means they are four port motherboards, but they have had the cartridge slot changes in order to make it compatible with the adapter, these 5200's have the same compatability problem as the 2 port.

can I get a link to that video you mentioned? I want to see it

Coleco Adam, complete in box on Ebay
Videogamecollector123 replied to 8bitguy1's topic in Auction Central
I saw one of these like yours for sale at a convention once for 100 bucks also, I would have bought it except I had to fly home and I don't think checking it at the airport was a good idea and I didn't have to time nor did I want to spend the money to stop by the post office to ship it. Its a pretty large box....but its well packed. I agree an airport would have been a pain. Yea, but the problem is that you need another box to put it in otherwise you risk damaging it, and the thing wieghs like 50 pounds or so. -
Usually they were sold sealed for $40-$50 in the past! True but I have kept my eye on a bunch and late just loose Supercharger have been going 60 ~ 80 if you don't include the wacky 200 auction . . . -Disjaukifa Good thing I got my supercharger for 40 bucks complete with two complete games
