  1. Thats sucks, thought they would at least give you some sort of explanation.
  2. https://www.atari2600.com/cat--Vectrex-Arcade-System-Games--SUB23.html Theres one for sale here
  3. Ah yes. The old wait ten days and hope it goes your way and he doesn't reply waiting period. Let's hope it goes your way. he responded straight away with some lame claim... so now it's up to ebay... What was his claim? After he last reply I'm curious to know what he came up with. ok... my paypal claim: Buyer: As mentioned in my last email to you. The box that accompanied the item was not wrapped and therefore sustained a lot of damage from tapes, adhesives and marker pens during shipping. Although you do not consider the box as a valuable part of the item - to a collector like myself the box is very much an important part of it. I purchased the box, accessories and the console in its entirety and expected that it would be suitably packaged for shipping. As a result the box has lost all value and I wish to be compensated for this. his counter claim: Seller: This buyer wants a refund for merchandise thats in perfect working order iam not refunding money for this transaction because he should have told me about the box in the beging iam not a collector so i don't know nothing about boxes the system is what i sold not the box i just happen to have it thats the bottom line. whether paypal get a specialist or not, to review and solve the dispute - the way i see it, i paid money for an item lot, which included the box as part of the item, and that part of the lot was damaged through negligence on the seller's behalf... and therefore a partial refund should be awarded. I don't think there will be an issue with that. But i think it will come down to whether they get a specialist to decide what that box is worth as a partial refund - i might end up getting $5 back ??!! either way - shit like this only happens once - next time i will definately cut and paste - 'how to pack my item' 101 just a pity I had to lose out on this particular item. I hope paypal sides with you as you paid for the system and the box in the condition they were in at the time of the auction, and the box was destroyed by the seller.

  5. They want to give you 50 cents(ooh, but they'll give you 75 cents for a saturn game!) for every old game, LOL they have no idea about real values of the games. I don't think there going to be getting any good ones soon.
  6. They want to give you 50 cents for Metal Gear solid, there not going to have any good classic games anytime soon. EDIT: Sorry posted this in the wrong topic, just ignore this it was for a topic on the toyrus trade in thing.
  7. I am surprised no one has mentioned this. Contact John Dondzila. If he doesn't know the answer, then no one does. Here's the website: http://www.classicgamecreations.com/ Yes John definetley knows his way around the Vectrex, I bought Vecmania from him, and it is one of the best games I have to the system.
  8. Well I was talking about the Vol 2 issues as you call them, the full size comics. Yea, the ending in NO. 20 was pretty bland, as though they couldn't just come up with a conclusion. I was expecting, when I took out issues 21 that they would use to tie up the story, but no thats just the backstory of dart and a story about packrat on Scanner 1. But I did like the rest of the comics. I plan on buying the original 5 mini issues, AX almost sold me them but he pretty much demanded I send him the money, and wouldn't even send me pictures of the lot.
  9. I'm guessing this auction might be the reason for this auction on ebay right now http://cgi.ebay.com/STARPATH-SUPERCHARGER-EXPAND-GAMES-GAMING-ATARI-2600_W0QQitemZ130333024035QQcmdZViewItemQQptZVideo_Games?hash=item1e58741f23&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 175 bucks for a loose supercharger, this guy is out of his mind.
  10. Thats is way to pricey, I paid 40 bucks for my supercharger with Phaser Patrol, Communists Mutants from Space, and Fireball all boxed, so yes a bunch of idiots got into a bidding war.
  11. Sorry if this is the wrong forum, I just didn't think this fit in any of the Atari specific forums. Anyway, I just got done reading Atari force which I have to say is as loosly based on Atari as possible. However the overall story is good and I like the artwork. Has anyone else read the whole series, because it's pretty good.
  12. Wow Atari really cheaped out with the 7800, from labels that are in black and white, to recycling old 2600 cartridges, to not even putting the labels on the games wrong thank you so much Jack Tramiel.
  13. Ya, I could not figure out why the other ones were 55 dollars. The only pieces to purchase that mine has is the label paper and the hinges. everything else is from the cart pieces. What do you think would be a good price for these? I have quite a few dead carts laying around that I am thinking of converting like this. Well, lets get some factors together, how long did it take you to make it? Theres money for labor and materials, we would need both of those figures and then a little extra for a profit to know how much you should charge for it, right now I'm thinking 10-15 dollars. It took about an hour to build, 2 hinges .18, 1/4 sheet of label material .50, glue .10 Ok with that information I would guess that about 12-15 dollars is a good price for them As it's going to cost lets say 6 dollars for one hour of work, cart would be worth around 1 dollar if you bought in bulk, and extra materials would be about 1 dollar so 4 dollars profit for you

  15. What games did you get with it? I have Communist Mutants from Space, Fireball, and Phaser Patrol. I'm looking into getting Escape from the Mindmaster at some point.
  16. I would get one of those wallets, but 55 bucks is a little to much to pay
  17. This guy looks horrible, he's calling his buyers scammers because the games he sold weren't sealed, and a ton of people keep saying that the games were crushed when they got them.
  18. Don't know what there worth where I just found out about there existence yesterday. but I'll offer you $50.00 plus shipping. I mean no disrespect if this is a low offer. That offer is actually pretty good. What games do you plan on getting for it? I'm just going to assume you have a tape player for it. That or you plan on playing roms out of your computer.
  19. Well the gun arrived today and I got to play Alien Brigade the right way finally. The gun works pretty well with the game. I heard about those Best electronics guns but I'm all for original feel, that and I couldn't find the best electronics gun listed on the website so I just went with the orignal.
  20. Well can you give us a link to the auction? I would like to see this item in the auction and then what it looked like when it got to you.
  21. What a jerk, yes email him back saying that how were you supposed to know he doesn't wrap the item THAT YOU PAID FOR. I would say it's fair to open up a dispute for him improperly packing the item and trying to spin it as though it's your fault.
  22. I live in Atlanta, and It would be great for a classic game expo to be in Atlanta.
  23. Wow, just wow. I hope you left feedback as low as it could go. What kind of person is cheap enough to not pack it in a box and just ruin the box that you paid for. Did the system at least work? Anyway to your question, I've never really had a bad ebay expierience except for one item that I never got, but it was just one atari game, seller never responded to my questions.
  24. LOL, that's because they're not that expensive. That's my point. eBay is becoming filled with more and more of these kinds of sellers who way over inflate the price for R5-R7 video game items. Just look at this guy's store. $900 for a set of six N64s? $1000 for ROB the Robot? $300 for a 4 switch 2600? $150 for Pong and other extremely common Pong clones? I hope the fucker goes bankrupt, and everyone else who lists items as quadruple the market value. I agree, this guy prices his items way to high, like I saw this http://cgi.ebay.com/ATARI-2600-HEAVY-SIX-SYSTEM-60249E-1977-8-GAME-F395023_W0QQitemZ320413856535QQcmdZViewItemQQptZVideo_Games?hash=item4a9a277317&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
  25. Well I got one for 20 dollars, so this thread is over.
