  1. I don't really have any dupes of decent games I could trade.
  2. Hey, so I just bought a Famicom and I'm looking for some games to go with it. I'm really only looking for CIB games. 1. Wild Gunman 2.Highwar Star(Rad Racer) So let me know if you have anything for offer.
  3. I'll have to talk with my grandfather, but my great grandfather has a very large collection of VHS recordings that we're looking to get rid of. They're mostly movies he recorded off of TV. I have no idea of their condition or quality, though they are labeled at least. There's probably a hundred tapes or more, each with a couple films. Let me know if you're interested.
  4. But it does have to go to channel 96 right? The only VCR I've got stops at channel 69.
  5. Bought one on ebay, and thus begins my journey into the world of import games.
  6. I was just thinking about using an old cable/satellite box, they have built in demodulators and I think they can go up to channel 95/96 where the Famicom's signal goes out on.
  7. So I'm looking into getting a Nintendo Famicom and wanted to see if it was possible to hook it up to my Commodore 1702 monitor. Of course the model Famicom I'm looking at is the original version with only RF output, so this makes it tad complex. What kind of demodulator do I need to hook it up through the monitor's RCA inputs, and will it have trouble with the Japanese RF signal?
  8. Looking for a complete Famicom in good shape. Shipping will be to Atlanta, GA 30327.
  9. I'm looking for a good condition 1702 monitor for my Commodore 64. I require that it still have the front panel and be functional. Send me a pm if you have one to offer, shipping will be to Atlanta, GA 30327
  10. Because it's better than the original Commodore 64 power supply. Not that it's hard since the originals are unserviceable hulks filled with epoxy that can fry your computer. They have the same voltage but different output cords hence the need for an adapter.
  11. So I'm looking to get a 128 power supply to use with my commodore 64, using an adapter cable of course. So if you have one for sale, shoot me a PM
  12. So what's a good replacement? I might as well replace it regardless if it's the cause of the audio problem.
  13. Could the power supply be to blame for this? I've heard they're not the most reliable and this page says that it can affect the audio. I've got the original black ribbed power supply.
  14. I just got done trying(and failing) to realign a 1541 drive. I had to take the drive and computer to my school to use the oscilliscope and tried for a couple of days to get it to work. Anyway, when I got the computer home(after buying another drive) I discovered that the sound had gotten quiet. It still works but I have to crank the volume up and there is a hum on top of game sounds plus occasional pops(On Ms. Pac-man they seem to happen whenever the screen changes). I've read that this is either the sound chip or the capacitors around it. How should I go about fixing this? Is there anything I can besides shelling out for a new SID chip? I run the sound through RF and use an RF to coax adapter to plug it into the tv. There is a 6581 0384 SID chip inside.
  15. Excellent buyer, paid very quickly and had excellent communication.
  16. Another issue I need to resolve. The instructions I have say to connect the osciliscope to the output of UF4. The problem is I don't know which pin that is. Does anyone know what pin I should connect it to, or if that is the correct chip?
  17. My science teacher actually figured it out, apparently he's got a bit of programming experience. He got it working by taking the spaces out. So instead of "PRINT #15", it's "PRINT#15". Kinda of weird when the manual clearly has spaces printed in it.
  18. Thanks for taking a look, here's the code as the manual puts it. untitled by Atari1977, on Flickr Here's the manual it's from, 2 by Atari1977, on Flickr While it's a Vic-1541 on the cover, I was told that this applies to the regular 1541 as well
  19. Here's how I have the program entered IMGP3414 by Atari1977, on Flickr
  20. I'm still working on it, but I still don't get why it won't work. I've got the test disk with these programs on it http://www.everythin...hp?download.328, does anyone know if I can use one of them to keep the motor running continuously?
  21. I'm a new commodore 64 owner and just acquired a 1541 drive. While it does load disks fine, I figured that it could use an alignment after it's years of service and I only have access to an oscilloscope at my school. I've got a test/demo disk and I'm a 1541 maintenance manual. So I've been trying to input a program that the manual says will move the head to track 16 and keep the motor running, but every time I've tried it I get a syntax error on line 20. Anyone know what I might be doing wrong? 10 OPEN 15,8,15,"U+":OPEN 2,8,2,"#":OPEN 8,8,8,"#" 20 PRINT #15,"B-P:";8;0:PRINT #15,"UA:";2;0;16;1 30 FOR X=1 TO 9:READ Y 40 PRINT #8,Y; 50 NEXT X 60 PRINT #15,"M-E"+CHR$(0)+CHR$(5) 70 STOP 80 DATA 173,0,28,9,4,141,0,28,96
  22. Well if you find it let me know. Though I'd rather have one that has been tested.
