  1. I think it's between my Vectrex and Virtual boy, certainly the two most expensive systems I have.
  2. As a young retro gamer myself, I certainly don't. I have a Vectrex on my desk and one of my favorite games of all time is Kaboom!. Though I agree most people my age who play any retro games don't go back past the NES. I think also popular retro gaming culture has labeled certain items as junk. For instance how most people still assume the Atari 5200 was junk because of that AVGN video. I fell into this as well in my early days, then I started getting into the Atari era. Then I got my 5200, and it became one of favorite systems, just for Missile Command and Robotron 2084.
  3. Well it's still a 400% profit I guess I though 512K games were more expensive than they were, so I'm just gonna keep it.
  4. Well I payed 50 cents so it's no problem if I can't sell it.
  5. Hey, found this at a yard sale. I don't have a 512K so I figured I'd just sell it. Can anyone tell me what it's worth? The box is a little worn but I think it comes with everything inside the box. IMGP2289 by Atari1977, on Flickr
  6. Paid quickly and overall a smooth transaction. A+ buyer

  9. Thanks for the tip jtoubeaux! However I'll add that I'm looking for an original C64.
  10. I'm looking to buy a Commodore 64 computer. I would like one that works and is in decent cosmetic shape and also the original C64 design. A disk drive wouldn't be missed, but not necessary. Send me a PM if you have one to sell.
  11. Good luck with that, you may also want to just go ahead and replace your 72pin connector. I replaced mine and now my NES plays everything except the dirtiest of games, only problem is that the game has to remain up, if you press it down like you're supposed to the game doesn't work.
  12. Well first thing to check will be the capacitors, if they've gone bad they'll need to be replaced. Also obviously check if the speaker's connections are still good. The vectrex is not the easiest system to work on, most of it is that CRT which you should discharge before you do these repairs, just in case you touch the connections(go to playvectrex.com for instructions on this procedure) Other then that it'll be nessecary to take out the bottom board in order to get to the speaker circuit. Good luck, hope you find out what the problem is.
  13. I'll definitely be buying those Yasi and Protector overlays when they're ready.
