  1. Been having a mouse running around my apartment the last month. The humane 'stick' traps the landlord was using were useless. Finally swapped them out yesterday with wooden spring traps. Result: wake up to one dead mouse. I feel bad for the little guy, but glad THAT's over with.

      Personally, I think the wooden spring traps are more humane. They spring so quickly that the mice feel nothing, whereas the sticky traps catch them by the fur and hold them for hours in sticky glue until they are discovered and killed (we usually drown them), or left to starve or tear themselves apart trying to escape.
