  1. I'm sorry, I find it funny how the south handles this freak storm. A freekin inch and they all go crazy! Meanwhile here in New England nothing gets delayed or closed unless we have AT LEAST a foot. And most people in the south CAME from the north -- you should know how to deal with this! Wimps. :)

      (That said, I still have to chuckle at Southern drivers, who haven't the slightest idea of how to drive in snow and ice. I've seen a few cars in ditches over the past few days.)

      I've been up north many times for first snow of the season and recall seeing many accidents because y'all haven't driven in those conditions since the prior winter.

       

      Here in Houston we've had snow 35 times between 1895 & 2006, so on average once every 3 years. If ya'll can't handle it after less than a year, why act all surprised when we can't after a few years?

      Yep that's about right for GA, last time it snowed AND was cold enough to stay on the roads was about 3 years ago. I guess we need to bone up on our driving on ice because it happens so often. LOL
