  1. Just did some testing and I'm stumped....I have two HD's installed on my PC, one with Windows (C:) and one backup (D:) They are connected the same way. Why does accesing pictures on the C drive faster then the D drive?

      Maybe your C: drive is indexed and D: is not?

      Could even be directory optimization or cache configuration. Indexing, dma/pio settings. Lots of things.

      For all I know, the drives are different models!

       

      Or maybe there is some sort of software that watches the D: drive for some reason?
