    Aperently a cut I got on my foot caused a infection....a good part of my foot is swollen and hurts to walk on. I'm assuming it will clear up in a few days, but anything I can do in the meantime?

      Called in from work today so I could go see a doctor. Was given a script for two antibotics....one oral, one cream. Soaking my foot in some Epsom salts now, which seems to be helping. Even with insurance all this got up to almost a hundred bucks. You can't afford to get sick, folks!

      Epsom salts works great, although it usually takes a few days to knock out the infection.

    How the hell does a single guy buying 95% of his stuff non-brand name and does a good ammount of cooking manage to drop $150 on food shopping each month? I don't even eat that much! :)

    Humble Bundle is having a amazing sale on Rockstar games right now! I picked up all 5 older GTA games (GTA3, Vice City, San Andreas, GTA4, and Libery City Stories) for $10 and the GOTY edition of LA Noire for $6! Max Payne 1 and 2 and other games are on there also!

    Rumors of my demise in the blizzard were fake...but not by much. Back home after two nights in a hotel for work purposes, 17 inches in Providence.

      17 inches or more used to be a not uncommon thing in New York in the late 70s. Aren't you exaggerating just a bit?

      Well, it was less then expected, and some areas got up to 32 inches. Still, we've had a VERY easy winter so far, and this was a cold reality check. And I did almost get into a car accident Monday night due to the roads trying to get to the hotel.

    Merry Christmas all! Having a quiet day here, which I'm fine with. I'll play some Atari 2600 games, SNES games, and get back to Wasteland 2 (I WILL beat you, I swear it!)

    Got a Steam question that I can't find the answer to. Can I continue a game started on one PC on another PC? It seems like you should be able to upload a save to the cloud like XBox Live, but can't find the way to do that in Steam.

      I think it depends on the game. Most seem to periodically sync saves and progress automatically, but I don't game on different computers very often.
